6.4 8.0 3.2 13.0 12.1 43/75 Wow, you only show me at 3.2 for strikeouts? Wins seem a little low, too - would you mind doublechecking?

SP: Prior, Halladay, Garcia, Marquis, O. Hernandez, Dave Williams

RP: Guardado, Takatsu, Ayala

I show Prior with 211, Halladay 152, Garcia 176, Marquis at 136, Orlando produces about 100, Dave Williams a good year at 114. Guardado, Takatsu and Ayala add up to about 160 for a total of about 1050 or so.. would expect that to be about an 8 ? Wins I project out closer to 9 as well.

(No problem if your projections are showing different - just wanted to make sure)

Thanks for doing all this - much appreciated!

Dave
Prior 165 IP OHERN&Williams 140IP You're 3rd reliever is what is killing your K and W's. However, if you plug a 22nd Rnd SP in, you'd only imporve about 1 point across as your WHIp and ERA take a hit.

To follow-up, Dyv I have you with 52% of your points coming from pitching, finishing 32nd overall. I have GG at 36th overall.

(Per the above discussion, I have you scoring 13 and 12 for era and whip, 9 for wins and 6 for Ks and Svs).

My team projects out to 9th overall, but of course I have forecast bias built-in to my picks which makes a projection for my own team really meaningless.

My team projects out to 9th overall, but of course I have forecast bias built-in to my picks which makes a projection for my own team really meaningless. That's a very comfortable feel as I have me in that ballpark right now as well. The question is can I manage it to a better finish or not? Per Gordon's earlier comment on a different thread is it fair to say that very few teams would project out to a top 10 finish at this point? I would argue it's because you can't account for how I juggle my pitchers, but it's probably also some portion of not accounting for WW plays.

With my upside, looking top 50 right now is what I was hoping for.

Thanks for any input Hmmmm, for the Main Event league I'd say you're very all around good at hitting. I wouldn't be happy with Chris Burke there as he's not likely to play. Not only is he lackluster in Spring and now minor injury... but on top of that we know Garner hates rookies... Luis Gonzalez is a nice cover, perhaps - but will he play?

I like Rios for the future, but kind of hard to get too excited about someone with 1 HR in 425 at bats last year... may be that Encarnacion or Langerhans fills that slot better?

Pitching looks good as well. Nice blend of SP, RP and Closers. I think you got one of Arizona's revolving doors at closer and Valverde should net you 10-12 saves anyway.

Looks very good to me.

Auction looks better to me, actually - although same players same opinions in some ways!

Find a sleeper OF to jump on!

b)ditto on H.Matsui in 4th

c)I had 0% chance on J.Lopez in 5th. Moved closers to 6/7 from 5/6

d) Buehrle in 11 and R.Lopez in 17 were steals.

e) had to take Erstad for 15 sb's. That could haunt me later. John,

I rate your team out at 55th overall, 81% percentile. Pitching scores 53% of total.

Very high BA, decent r/rbi prodcn, mediocre hr/sb. Very good ERA and WHIP with only Benson in the 4.00s, above avg in both W and SV but hurt by K totals.

Take a look at my roster if you get a chance. Thanks.

Super flex man Juan Uribe is fascinating for team management perspective - that's a nice pull.

I'm concerned with Marquis Grissom having a big part of your offense, but who can't fill an OF spot, right? Nix might be your man already...I'd start him over Grissom if he wins the starting job outright.

Hurly Burly hit makes your pitching staff go from 'very nice' to 'pretty good' - but I bet you can manage to scrape up a pitcher or two.

Nice job - the average joe Pitching staff is a little underwhelming until you start to think through the stats each should produce. I think your biggest fight there will be WHIP. If BJ Ryan goes 'Joe Nathan 2004' then you're going to be smiling ;)

Nice draft -

Dave
Thanks.... Zaun was pick #30.lol. I'll find a C, no worries there...

On WHIP, Colon will be fine.

He was 1.21 second half. His first half problems are history and he came into camp in much better shhape this year. I have him at 1.28.

Lopez (1.28), Benson (1.17), Buehrle(1.19), Hernandez(1.22) were all under 1.30 second half last year and Lawrence was at 1.36.

I have my WHIP around 1.31.

All six starters could win 15 and most have at one time.

I like Mota for 40, Ryan for 30, and Hawkins for 10-15.

no complaints with my hitting although i could use a few more steals. have l.matos on reserve who i can squeeze in and hopefully will have a healthy season. could of used another top starter, a little short there. need my sleeper starters to come through to have a chance. took lyon and macdougal for reserve in case aquino and affeldt arent healthy. dont like my team as much as i did leaving the draft last year. with my projected stats this team would of finished 35th overall last year. decent! hopefully with pickups i can improve. what are the odds of winning this again anyway lol wish everyone luck and a great season. artie triple a

8.3 for SB. i have myself projected at 142. using most other publications sb projections i'm around 155. that's got to be at least 12 pts. 5.5 for runs look a little light. thanks for the numbers.
