Tell him that it would be a good piece for the I am now a victim episode. If he is going to talk that much trash- the Michael Jordan and New York Yankees (both his own description) should have a little thicker skin.

He's just mad because he had to give up his career in porn when he got married. Try distinguishing yourself by doing some interesting stuff on the boards. Try your hand at Gekko jeopardy.

Most of all just try ignoring the people who give you a hard time. You can start with me because I still think of you as The Boss and will continue to say you are proving what a toothless loser you are by not putting up money for the main event. :D
Bjoak you are the only one here who gets me- first of all you are probably only one of about 10 people who know where the screen name comes from.

Participating in Gekko jeopardy would be a great idea for the Big Dog. I think I mentioned on another thread that what Mark was doing with that would benefit him greatly. The questions he is asking are excellent and the responses are well thought out, I am learning a lot.

I'm back. Didn't take it personally. Just had a bad week. No harm done. The Yankees of fantasy baseball is back.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Not to defend Big Dog because I don't know him from Adam. (And who is Adam anyway?)

BD was in a mock draft I was in Friday night. I won't post his picks, in case he doesn't want to, or maybe he did on another thread, but they weren't awful. He made some pretty good picks as far as I could remember. (At least early...I tried to pay attention to what the Yankees of Fantasy Baseball was doing, to see what his own hype was all about.) Granted, it was just a mock draft and several owners let players fall, to see what rounds they will land in, which has it's effects, but even so, as an owner, you can pass on these players also and take someone else.

Big Dog - I will say your first six rounds or so were used to build a nice foundation. You also got some good value picks later in the draft. As with most owners, including myself, you had your share of, "What was he thinking here?" picks, but all in all, not too shabby! I think you should enter the main event.

Did the first post with the ongoing draft results get taken down or is there just a glitch in the system?

I'll add two more rounds today. The top post was gone yesterday when I wanted to do that.

I didn't see them in the magazine. We've decided not to post those online. The owners likely grabbed some sleepers in those last rounds and we'll give them a bit of privacy for helping us out in this early season draft. No need to expose those last five rounds to the masses.

I can give you hint. Wes Helms WAS taken. Can't remember by who. Probably wouldn't say anyway. He DID go though.
