Now I know you won't have any money left for the main event!! :D

Drafting mostly four dollar players puts me at least one round behind everyone else and I get no players with more than three years experience. My most expensive player is Clint Barmes at $16.

I have to put in a word here for Kevin and everybody else in this draft. THE best twist for fantasy baseball since head to head. Kevin deserves every superlative thrown his way. The drafters are all timely and the ultimate pro's.

I think this idea catches fire next year and becomes part of the future for fantasy baseball.

As for me, I knew my strategy as soon as I signed up, mostly because I'm a cheap bastard at heart. Decisions are a lot easier for me than the mid and higher paying teams, although I wanted to swing that way a couple of times.

In no other drafts will you see Derek Jeter going in the 18th round. But the question is would you give $200 out of your own pocket for Jeter or save $196 with Burriss? Decisions like that with just about every pick. A most intriguing draft.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

[/QUOTE]Dan, Tony has actually been playing in this type of league for years....except, I'm pretty sure they are AL/NL only and are keeper leagues. So the complexity of the league and strategy is a little different.

I am glad KJ thought of it for us diehards and wish our team was able to join the ranks of the Yankees....eh, who am I kidding, I'm a Rays fan!
