Did Anyone Get Fantasy Sports Magazine Yet?

Post by The Godfather of FS » Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:12 pm

Sorry guys, this was my fault. I trusted the post office and our mailing house, who even with the holidays, told me the magazines would be delivered. I sent the list of everyone who had ordered before Dec. 10th on Dec. 10th. I was on that list also (my way of checking up on them), and I got my magazine at my house in St. Louis today. Hopefully everyone else on that list will be getting their magazine by Friday.

First I want to tell you what we are doing to fix this problem. We will no longer be using the mailing house in Long Prairie where the magazines are printed. They will be shipping the magazines to St. Louis and we will be mailing them from our St. Louis office. All orders that we have in our system before the magazines arrive (which is apx 3 weeks before the on sale date) will go out the day after we get the magazines. All orders for magazines we have in stock will go out the next business day after you place the order. Our local Post Office told me yesterday that the magazines will be received within 2-6 (business) days from the day we mail them, based on how close you live to St. Louis...so if you live on one of the coasts, expect it to take a week.

I have personally mailed a lot of you (from a list Greg had compiled that he heard from) another copy, those went out via priority mail on Monday, so if you didn't get them today, you should tomorrow. For those of you that might not have talked or emailed Greg, if you send me an email, [email protected], I will send you a complementary copy of the Annual which we just got in the office, and has a spectacular story from the Godfather Of Fantasy Sports I'd hate for you to miss.

I just finished my 15th baseball draft this season today as we're putting the finishing touches on the Just Cheat Sheets magazine which goes on press next week...and I highly recommend you study my picks in it, and ignore Tom and Greg's!!! Just kidding, these drafts provide spectacular insight, as will the adp's and some other great features we've added this year.

Greg, do I need to order the annual or were you kind enough to have sent me a copy? Thanks

Charlie,

You mentioned the Just Cheat Sheets magazine. Is it or will it be available to order at Fanball.com? Thanks for following up on the error and adjusting future mailings.

Scott Martin

Magazine came today. Fanball did a very nice job with it ... enjoyed all sections. Like many of the other "not a teenager anymore" guys, I do wish the font used for the player projections had been a little bigger and on a neutral background. Who says baseball is a kids game?

Astigmatically yours,

Closter ;)
