this is about the time where you make a public apology to Greg, Ryan, Fanball, the NFBC community, along with me. people considering joining this league who read your post are likely having second thoughts now. i'm sure greg and ryan appreciate that.

when talking fantasy baseball turns into YOU issuing physical threats, you may want to check with a professional on if you have anger management issues.

someone PM'd me and said you had a mancrush on me. sorry dog, i don't go that way. at this point, i will not respond to any further posts by you. and ps, stay the F away from me in AC.
Seriously - there is a fine line on the boards and like it or not you crossed it. Until someone invents the sarcasm font that is. Read your post again and see if there was anything that was even remotely funny about what you posted. Personally - I feel your apology was lame. You wrote it - be man enough to admit you screwed up and that it won't ever happen again.

Greg/Tom don't police these boards, because frankly they have more important things to do - so it's up to us I guess. Try again my friend- with a little more humility this time.
ok, got rid of my last attempt at humor. Someone really does need to invent the sarcasm font!

If GG felt threatened I truly apologize. I've no intention of punching anyone, except Shawn Childs!

I do not want to punch anybody in the face, I, personally would like to shake Gekko's hand and buy him a, well lemonade. I know about kids, couple years ago I ventured into 2 Sat.s (for the first time)and during the drafts my 1 and 3 year olds had the flu. DEAD MONEY. I read everything and anything but that dosn't mean I am a sheep and believe everything I read, but it does make me think! Gekko's view is interesting to say the least and I love his banter!
Well it isn't something I would hope for-------Kirk Gibson after getting hit in the face

couple updates here to questions folks asked me...

1. if david wright is indeed hitting 5th in the lineup, i would pass on him at the 1/2 turn

2. i WILL have a different plan of attack for the two main events. one is going to focus a bit more on pitching and one is going to go a "different route" to get my offensive numbers. i've never tried the childs 75/75 strategy, but i will be testing it this week to see how doable it is for me.

Do you think the West Coast offense is more fashionable? When more teams are playing the same style, defense's adjust and the style loses some edge. Is the year of the spread offense?

as far as more people employing it, we'll see about that. i think most people will forget about the 75/75 strategy when they see big name players available when they pick. it takes discipline to go 75/75.

The 75 and 75 just doesnt happen it depends where you are picking from.If you take Pujols ,Arod, Fielder or Cabrera early it wont work. When you come back to the early first 5 picks their is a good chance Crawford Kemp Utley and Ellsbury will be gone. You just cant force it and with more speed aviable later in the draft you can try other strategy's if you dont land in the right spot.

I just went Fielder-Upton-Upton. That's pretty darn close. Of course, if BJ brings his Whiff-o-Matic bat again this year, then average will really suffer.

I believe there are many ways to accomplish the 75-75 if you want to go that route.

550-50 from the first three starters...May be a little tougher, guess it all depends on the PROJECTIONS.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
Roberts went before my 3rd pick or I would've. His back situation has me rather relieved that he wasn't!!

"He's ready to go," said manager Dave Trembley, who touched base with Roberts on Tuesday morning. "He will be fine."
