Steve, you don't concern yourself with this league until at least Monday. Keep all your focus and positive energy on some big money playoff pools I see you dominating. Good luck tomorrow Bud, I'll be rooting for you.

Not being someone who follows hockey at all, was it a Rangers fan who famously quoted after they finally won the Cup, "Now I can die in peace!" ? :D Those of you who know me would agree that I'm not often at a loss for words, but I have to say that when famous #15 stepped to the plate this evening ('big stick and all" ;) ), I was speechless. What made it funny was it happened to come through on my phone when I was out with the wife for dinner and a movie. Now I'm sure that all of you fellow fanatics who have significant others experience the ongoing phenomenon/burden of being in a relationship with someone who we love dearly who just so happens to be totally clueless when it comes to understanding our respective sicknesses, benign to us as they may be. ;) So when I was scrolling through all the posts that came through especially Glenn's and just laughing out loud in the theater lobby, she just shook her head, rolled her eyes, and said, "I'm going to go pee now." And walked off. Being the sensitive and concerned husband that I was at that moment, all I could think was, "Good, now I have some time to text Lowy." Classic. Thankfully as always, I was able to schmooze my way out of any further repercussions...although come to think of it, she did make sure that she was in bed and asleep quite early tonight after we got home. Hmmm. Oh well. There is always tomorrow after I'm done completely ignoring her for several hours for the Super Bowl.  Anyway, thanks to Glenn for being a great sport and taking the barrage of abuse for the last two months on this thread. Thanks to Greg for all of his support of this league and the concept. And thanks to all of you have jumped into this thing for its inaugural season of what will be a night to remember for sure. I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you come March 23rd. That way I will have plenty of new material to use on the boards in the future! And last but not least, this one is for you, Mrs. Lowy, for lending us your husband for one more night away from you and the kids...we appreciate it.

Funny you should mention this, Max. I am working on getting either radio, TV, or both there for this baby. You out there following this Cory? ;) There's got to be at least a hundred stories that will come out of this one. 8-) :D

Absolutely Mikey, congrats once again Steve for taking down the FFPC playoff contest, you sure do make a habit of this winning thing. ;)
Congrats should also go out to our other fellow leaguemate, Nelson, for sweeping the NFFC playoff contests as well.

Great job guys, what a way to end the football season.

Congrats also to you Mikey, for finally coming to terms with your advanced age.

A night to remember for all of you.

I'm happy to hear that Nelson won so much money. Now I won't feel so bad taking it all from him.

Quick league update, boys on the evening's festivities: I spoke with our Assistant Draft Facilitator this evening (in private and far away from my house of course ;) ), and she said that she is looking forward to serving us during our draft, and confirmed it as a definite in her schedule. Please feel free to now respond with whatever suggestive puns and innuendo you feel inappropriate.

Okay boys,
I now officially have all of your emails, and I have created a "MTM" Group for regular correspondence outside of this thread. There is a ton of cool stuff that I am working on to really spice up this event even more (as if it really needs it given this crew ;) ), and to make it even more memorable. 8-) This league will be the talk of the NFBC this season and for years to come. Since we are billing ourselves as the "Best of the Best in the East", I figure we deserve to go all out on this one. :D I will be sending out an email to all of you tomorrow about a bunch stuff including what I'm calling our "Iron Balls KDS" system for this event. I am sure that you will all love it. ;) Thanks again to all of you that committed to this league and the concept this year, and please help Greg and Tom now spread the word to help promote the Mahwah, New Jersey venue this first weekend. They need to fill up the Auction Event opposite us on Friday night, and need to round out another Main Event and one XII at least for Saturday. See what you can do. Tell your friends. This venue may not have the "allure" of the casinos in AC, but it is a great venue for competitors that are coming out to do the best and most important thing: Draft, draft, and more draft!!! Followed by a lot of good time spent hanging out and talking sh*t about our favorite obsession/hobby. Stay tuned. More to come!

Hey Marc,
Not yet. I decided to wait until the weekend. I am working on it now, and everyone will have it sometime later tonight. You can all "reply all" so that we can hear from each other and be in the loop. I have your email, so not to worry. Thanks for the follow-up. :D

Got it this morning - I think Fleming's bounced back....maybe an extra letter "c" in front?

Anyway, over $725K won by 8 of the owners in this league...and that doesn't count my FREE ENTRY for winning a satellite....

Look forward to winning this one

Mike - great extras for this league, looking forward to it.

Jupinka - I found your kryptonite...and yes, I will be sitting next to you during the draft, just to taunt you!

MTM:

Dropped an email on some of your suggestions. I also had Scott's email bounce back.

The "night" of KDS System is a very unique twist that will add some flair to the event. I'm
fine with this as I think Joe and I will be able to adapt on the fly. I have no issues with this if Joe
is OK with the twist. As detailed in my email - I just think you need to factor in some time to pull
this off on draft night.

This event has your name and stamp, but the NFBC is putting it's mark on the proceedings
by collecting/holding the cash and providing us with the tech support. I'm assuming Tom K will be in
house for the draft? Who has final say on how this is run on draft night? Will this be you or an NFBC
representative? Thanks

To keep this simple here (I will elaborate more in my emails back to you guys), Tom will be in house for this draft and we will have facilitators to keep things moving. Ultimately Tom and the NFBC will have the final say since they are sanctioning the event even though it has my name on it.
