And to hear that you're a transplant from Wisconsin and still a Packers' fan is even better. I was at Lambeau Field on that dark, dark day against the Giants and it didn't even look like the same Packers' team we watched all year long. But the Giants took it to us right from the first play and were more physical, made all the big plays and proved to be the better team. It sucked, but their playoff run sure reminded all of us here how we did the same thing last year. The only good thing since then is that it's been spring-like weather here since January and I'm sure we have less snow here than you have in Colorado. We barely have a trace here.

Keep posting and keep winning in the NFBC. Nice debut post. Welcome aboard.
Thanks Greg. I can only imagine what it must have felt like being at that game. It was hard enough suffering through that game from my living room. The Giants this year were eerily similar to last years Pack, that's for sure. Now we know how the #1 seeded Falcons felt last year when the Packers went into the Georgia Dome and stomped them. I've only been to one game at Lambeau, when I was a kid, but went to a hand-full of Viking/Packer games at the Metrodome as a kid as well. I would love to go to Lambeau again. I took advantage of the stock sale and bought a share of the Pack right after the regular season ended. I am 0-1 as an owner...
I am also a huge Brewers fan, and haven't been to the new Miller Park yet either, but got out to WI the final year of County Stadium to see a game. I bought the MLB Directv package last year and watched almost all of the Brewers games last year that way.
As for the snow, ya this is definitely the most snow I can remember since I moved out here when I was in middle school in the early '90s. Usually we get one big snow storm early, and one late in the season, with little snow storms in between. And then it only takes a few days to melt it all away. We just keep getting snow storm after snow storm this year, and it hasn't gotten warm enough to melt it all away like it usually does.

Go back to worrying about how shallow 3rd base is. PS- top 15 3rd base= miggy, bautista, longoria, beltre, wright, young, , lawrie, zimmerman, sandoval, YOOOOOOOOK (for 2 months or so) steroid boy (ditto) , a ram, hanly, reynolds and maybe moustakis. Deepest position in baseball big guy.

You realize, however, that just mentioning "peach cobbler or fried chicken" in the same post as "sandoval" caused him to gain 10 lbs!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Certainly excited to start my NFBC "career" with all of you this year. Time to step out and challenge myself and although this will probably result in dominating losses, it will be worth it in the end. Knowledge investment!
