Las Vegas $650 NL only?

Okay, we officially will split this last NL Auction League in Las Vegas between a $1,250 and a $650 league. You can thank Gregory Morgan for that as he has agreed to compete in the $1,250 NL Auction League. I also have one more owner who is unofficially willing to move over to the higher competition. Once that is done, I'll announce the 13 $650 owners and pick the nomination order. We'll either do that tonight or tomorrow after I land in Las Vegas. It definitely won't be later than tomorrow night.

My goal is to still get 13 teams for the $1,250 NL Auction League, but I would move forward with 12 if need be. But I think there's still one more owner out there who wants in.

So we'll get the nomination order for that one by Wednesday at the latest.

I knew Clark Olson would move over to the $1,250 NL Auction League if I promised to buy him Corona's on Thursday night. We now have a full $650 NL Auction League and we have one spot left for the $1,250 NL Auction League. We'll do all we can to fill that last spot in the next two days before announcing the nomination order for that league, but at least you guys know who your competitors are in each league. Tom will pick the nomination order for the $650 NL Auction League in the next few minutes and then we'll be done with that one!!!

There is only ONE spot left in the entire contest. Anyone want this final $1,250 NL Auction League?

Jeff Price becomes our 13th owner in the $1,250 NL Auction League in Las Vegas. I'll pick the nomination order in five minutes and announce it online and via e-mail. This was the final remaining spot in the contest so we're officially SOLD OUT!!

We have now officially sold out EVERY event in the NFBC for 2006. I apologize to these owners for taking a little longer than expected to fill the second $1,250 NL Auction League in Las Vegas, but sometimes things are worth the wait. We were able to find 13 owners who were willing to compete in this NL-only Auction League at $1,250 per team and we'll now compete for a $7,500 first place prize.

This event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Stardust in Las Vegas in Salon 3 of the Stardust Convention Hall. Here is the nomination order of the draft and the order for the six-round reserve draft. Good luck everyone.
