There were an awful lot of smart people who completely stayed away from him this year. When you count them and then count all the people who did draft him this year, that probably won't touch him next year... whats that leave, the drafters that dont know anything about his PEDS involvement and the drafters looking to win the lottery...
I believe Bruan has been using for at least 5 years.... and if all the details ever come out "officially" that will be verified...

Who knows how long he's been juiced; could go back to his days at The U. Until he plays at least one supposedly clean season, he and Cruz et al are too risky to draft as a core player. Also he'll be 30 next year and normal physical decline is on its way; even more reason to stay away.

People stayed away from Braun this season because they feared a possible suspension. I'm not sure there were too many people who stayed away from him thinking he would suffer a massive drop in production if he played the entire season without incident. So the reasons why people avoided Braun this season may have no connection at all to why they would avoid him next year, unless you're expecting him to suffer another massive suspension.

Who's to say he'll be clean next year? He might just keep on using like Arod...

That's one of the many ugly things about this whole mess. We don't know how many of his seasons now are tainted and how many are not. Maybe we'll never know.

If you read Braun's statement, no one will know for sure any answers to the questions people have or you asked. Braun and no player involved, most likely, will ever expose the details of when, how long, how much, what type, how, where, nor will MLB, unless compelled by other legal concerns, because he/they will not risk any incriminating details that could be used against him criminally. If Braun ever gets assurance it will not happen, maybe then he might tell the truth and come clean.

Anyone drafting Braun for next year better be prepared for the possible criminal actions that could come for some or all these cheating players.
If it goes down that path, trust me, no one will know until the day it happens. For anyone that thinks that criminal charges are off the table, they would be 100% wrong and especially for the big fish like Arod and Braun and Bosch. Not unlike the MLB players (Keith Hernandez for one) who turned on each other in the Pittsburgh Drug trials. That investigation went on for 18 months before criminal Indictments came, and everyone had no idea until it happened.

IMO Braun has been using PEDS for years and I have my reasons for thinking that way, some of which I have articulated previously. We'll see how he performs next year if he gets to play a whole season. I'll stick by he's on my undraftable list for next year, as it will be a crap shoot anyhow from draft to draft where he goes depending on who's drafting in any given league.

This Scandal, which it is what it is now, is Balco on Steroids in the FEDS eyes. Its sad because the cheats still think they can get away with it and get the easy money. For those that think this PEDS cheating will never stop, they may be right, but then also be prepared for these scandals to never stop. They will always get caught though and it is becoming harder for any of them to evade long term.
