Carpenter was a reach early in the 2nd round. Taking a pitcher in the 1st round is not my cup of tea. I would have rather waited till the 3rd round and taken either wainwright/strasburg/fernandez/hernandez.

actually there appears to be some variance. im sure the 90 players greg has shown in the various drafts aren't very unique, maybe 110 different players? but the order has been pretty random.
beltre at 5 overall? yu in first in some drafts, mid 2nd in others, etc

i wouldnt expect too much variance in top 90 this early. no groundbreaking news. maybe tanaka posting or not posting will shake some things up

Thoughts?

A couple of things jumped out at me looking at these results. First, interesting to see Ellsbury at 1(6) and Cano at 1(13); kind of liked they traded slots based on their new home fields. Second, interesting to see Votto going at 2(2) - may have missed it, but I think this is the first time I've noticed him going outside of the first round. Third, interesting to see four SPs going in the second round. Fourth, lots of love for Christian Yelich at 5(13). I'm on my third draft of the season and the earliest he has gone in those was 11(14). (Not trying to be critical of whoever took him; maybe he'll be great; just surprised to see him go that early.)

I haven't even started research, but as I begin to gear up I'm curious as to why I see Zobrist still going in the 5th and 6th round? Is it the dual eligibility that bumps his value? I owned him multiple times last year and he was a big disappointment, but I guess I might be missing something?
