"Why Mark, would anyone do that? That would be way too complicated and time consuming. It would be so much simpler to come on the message boards and write an essay on the 10 reasons it shouldn't be part of the ADP. This league is done every year and Greg removes the numbers every year. In the mean time, everyone continue with your bitching."

That really doesn't help the newbies to the site, and it should be listed as Draft Champions, not Slow Drafts...doesn't seem that difficult seeing that's what they are called nowadays.

So, a newbie comes on the boards (like this thread) or sends a note to Greg and asks a question about it. The ADP is a luxury that the NFBC provides. The contract league ended 36 hours ago. Greg has been away. I am sure once he gets back, he will remove the results from this draft and everyone can sleep tonight.

You act like it's common knowledge that the results will be removed, then you tell newbies to the site to stop bitching and roll your eyes, nicely done.

It is amusing how threads like this take on a life on their own. The fact is that newbies will never get to see the ADP's unless they sign up for a league. If they don't like what they see, they either start a thread like the original poster did and get the answer that was provided in 5 minutes by Dan and Greg or send an email specifically to Greg and Tom and it would have been answered that way.

Everything else is just an argument to the degree, from heavily to not at all, about how different NFBC players use ADP in their draft strategy.

The issue was explained by Greg about 5 minutes after the question was asked. Draft results automatically populate. Sorry for the eyeroll and poor use of language. I am sure the results will be removed. :D :D

Still five weeks until pitchers and catchers report...I doubt this will be the most ridiculous argument thread on the message boards.

Perhaps Outlaw could comment and tell us what he's hearing from his sources on whether or not the results will be banned from the ADP.

I actually think this thread is quite useful, and should be pinned at the top of this message board every year.

What we've learned: Contract leagues are included in the Default ADP listing for All Drafts, and that Greg will remove these results once he gets a chance, like he always does; If you want to see the ADP of the Draft Champion Leagues, you need to click on Slow Drafts, as these are what the current Draft Champion Leagues (DC for short) are now called; you need to sign up for a league to actually see the ADP listing, and that this apparently means you are not a newbie anymore and are a veteran of the site and should know how the ADP listing works! :P

Sorry, I got home late last night and then was at my boy's basketball tournament all day. If the Contract League is finished, I'll request IT to remove those results from the ADPs. I had planned on doing that from the start and didn't realize that league finished already. Didn't it just start?

Anyway, no worries on this. We need to remove these results from the ADPs and we will. Thanks for the heads up all.

Welcome to the NFBC Forums where newbies are encouraged to keep their opinions and questions to themselves and blindly give respect to those who came before us simply because they've spent tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars to date and/or been lucky enough to outskill their peers to win an overall prize.

Go to your team page. Hover over 'Stats'. It's the last item on the drop down...
