I have Owings in my Auction league, so that would be my vote!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

--- David Ortiz is the 1st player 38 or older to homer 2+ times on consecutive days since Ty Cobb on May 5-6, 1925. ---Deadheadz wrote:![]()
After a long discussion with my friend (the mayor of Toronto) I've decided to put CJ Cron in my Util spot and sit David Ortiz.
I've got Pujols at 1B and Votto at CI. How long til Cron gets OF eligible?
Seems like I've got this game all figured out.

Accordingly, this may have been the worst lineup decision involving an "old" hitter in the history of fantasy baseball. And one more game to go.

and just shocking it was deadheadz that did it!
Re: Sitting Big Papi
Cobb hit three homers, then two.
The first player after 1900 to have five homers in two days.
His fantasy owners were thrilled

Goddamn MLB official scoring!!!

Had they ruled at the time that Ortiz hit vs Darvish on May 9 it would have tipped the scales in Papi's favor and there's NO WAY I would have sat him.
You can't sit a guy who's batting .333 in his last 9 games.
