Is this really the best you could do, Lowry? You're getting soft hanging out with those pusses in the auction crowd...not to mention that watered down, candy-ass Platinum group. You better start working on your material if you're ever going to run with the big boys again.

Mikey, I wonder if you will be man enough to be the first person NOT to pick Trout #1. Go Kershaw. Actually, according to my rankings, Trout should fall to...say...#4?

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Any update on when the Mia Draft might start? Are we really waiting for the new Draft Room, or is there truth to the rumor that MTM has asked Greg and Tom for a delay while he tries to decide which first baseman to take with the #1 pick?

I'm all for starting this one tomorrow if you don't want to wait for the new online draft room. That wasn't my idea. Seems like some folks don't care how they draft; they just want to draft. I'm fine with that.

Okay, here's a heads up on the Mia DC League. When we decide on the start date -- and I've emailed Dan to let me know -- I will sign all 15 owners up for a regular $150 DC League. The league will automatically create a draft order and everyone will get an email update that the league is sold out and at 5 am ET you'll get the draft order. DON'T PANIC!!! DON'T EMAIL US!!!
Then first thing in the morning Tom will set the Draft Order that Mia selected and by 1 pm ET the draft will start with Mike on the clock for the first pick. We know how to do this, but the way we have it set up with the system auto-creating the leagues and the draft orders for these DCs it needs one extra step for this league to make it -- and Mia!! -- special. Thanks all.

We will all be there Monday with bells on.
Wait, that doesn't look good in print.
How in the heck did that ever become a thing anyway? Who wears bells, right?
Anyway, yes we will be there and can't wait.
If this were a live draft, Mikey's girls would be replaced by Mia and lots of Oreos, Hersheys, and Fudgesicles for everybody!
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Just a heads up that everyone is now signed up for the Mia League. It was auto-created this morning and it will randomly run the draft order. You can compare that one to the one that Mia picked and have some fun with it, but Tom will change it to Mia's order tomorrow morning. Don't panic when you see the auto-picked draft order!!!
This will start at 1 pm ET and you probably won't see the new online draft room option until just before then. Feel free to Chat in the old room as much as you want and we'll slide everyone over shortly. I think a new link will appear on your team page for the new draft room, but I'm not positive yet. I'll be in touch with everyone tomorrow morning for a smooth transition. Thanks all for being so patient and for volunteering to be one of the first leagues to use this and good luck tomorrow.
And Mia, keep staying strong and healthy and cute!!

We're all so proud of you and your family!!!

This should be interesting folks. We will keep everyone posted on the "NEW DRAFT ROOM" thread just as soon as I make the official first pick ever in the new draft room at exactly 1:00 p.m. EST. Of course, should the entire thing crash immediately afterwards, you probably won't hear much other than swearing.
The over/under in Vegas has the first technical issue occurring in five rounds. Place your bets before it goes off the board.
Looking forward to this one. I'm sure there will be plenty of feedback coming everyone's way.
You really have to wonder how well Greg is sleeping tonight?
