Right now I'd have to say you will have to set your lineup before the week begins. I can talk with STATS about doing it after the week or making changes on Friday, but that could present a new set of programming changes for our setup. Let me look into it if the interest is there. But I like the concept and will support this if there is enough interest. Basically it's drafting a huge roster and then just making your own lineup changes each week. NFBC Draft Champions League. I like it. Greg, there is no way to optimize scores like FB each week. The only way that can be done is to calculate every possible lineup scenario, (it's way past billions of scenarios) and that would mean ANY P performance that sucks would NEVER be used because a P with no performances that week would actually be better.
The object of these leagues is to NOT have more work after the draft.
Setting a lineup is more work, but it pales to the work involved if one was to "try" and optimize their results each week.
Please, let's just keep it to setting lineups on Monday only. Friday IR changes are ok.. so that leaves stats with just turning the FA program off.

I was at full capacity for NFBC lges until you throw out a DC lge; with no add'l time needed contemplating FA pickups I can add one more. Count me in.
UFS - I agree, setting lineup prior to the week makes most sense - just dump FAAB.
Greg - Would the challenge for MDC be the depth of the player pool rather than the number of rounds?

Damn John - like Kevin my dance card was filled, but this is a format I suggested a couple of years ago and we couldn't get enough to do it. Let me see if I can rearrange my schedule (there is a ST game that night in my park) and I will check back here.
PS - can you change the title of the thread since you are now doing Monday instead of Saturday?

I can make it, my home auction league is that weekend, so i will go right into monday.I like the 4000.00 payout for 1st.Thats enough money to get up for. That will be a long draft, will they have a auto pick if someone skips out late or misses a pick. Either way im in.

Greg,
Count the PhillyCheeeseSteaks in for draft champions league.
Should be challenging--not having the FAAB, everyone will have to deal with injuries.
The owners listed already will keep it interesting.
thanks

Interesting League!
Someone may want to make sure MockDraft has a pretty deep list of names to choose from (ie Minor Leaguers.
