Eickhoff is the weakest of the three. There have been comparisons to Matt Shoemaker that since the fastball sits in the low 90s that he has much less room for error.Gekko wrote:1. VV

Don't get me wrong, I like eickhoff a lot, but that's due to his impressive curveball. If he can't control any given night, he does not have a fastball that scares anyone

mike - as stated, if he doesn't have his CB or command, his FB wont be putting many people away. still, i'll take a 7K and 0BB performance every start. history says that will work long term.
