Glad to welcome Robert Glade of Bayonne, New Jersey back to the main event as we move closer to filling up a seventh league in New York for the main event. Welcome back Robert and let's keep the signups coming.

We now have nine full leagues in Las Vegas for the main event -- 135 paid teams. That's a new record for Sin City and we still have 2+ weeks to go for signups. Can we get 10 full leagues in Las Vegas? I'd like to think so. Thanks everyone and man is the Flamingo Sunset Ballroom going to be fun this year!!! :D

We now have seven full leagues for the main event in New York -- 105 paid teams. If there's one city where we know we'll get plenty of last minute signups, it's the Big Apple. Let's keep it going and see if we can fill up nine leagues again there like last year. Thanks all.

I'm really on the fence regarding participating in the NFBC for the first time...been in the NFFC for a while.

Somebody push me over the top...it's been a while since I've participated in fantasy baseball so I could be dead money for you in Vegas. I just need that little extra push and it shouldn't be hard as I definitely don't want to wait until football in September to fuel my competitive spirit...please help.

How about a customer retention rate that is through the roof. People speak with their pocket book. You would not spend 1300 bucks plus travel every year if it were not a lot of fun and very well run.

Here's my Letterman Top 10 push for Chicks Dig The Long Ball:

1. In Las Vegas, it's spring break at that time and UCLA chicks really Dig Fantasy Baseball Owners who wear NFBC hats. :D

2. There will be 200+ college basketball games to bet on that weekend in Las Vegas as every conference has their post-season tournament that weekend.

3. We drink even more in the NFBC than we do in the NFFC because the drafts take twice as long. :D

4. It's been a long winter and nothing says spring like Las Vegas in March!!

5. It's a good reason to buy MLB Extra Innings this year.

6. IT'S ONLY $1,300!!!!

7. In baseball, you get 30 rounds to screw up instead of just 18 for football!!

8. You're competing against the best and if you love sports competition you'd be foolish to walk away from this event.

9. I'm hosting in Las Vegas. 'Nuff said!!!

10. If you're sucking in baseball, the good news is that football is right around the corner!

Sorry, that's the best I can do. ;)

1. The competition is great. This is the strongest collection of fantasy baseball talent you're going to compete against in the country.

2. Our payouts are strong and deep. We don't just reward a few teams, but we pay out 11 places in the overall event and the top 3 in each league.

3. It's Vegas baby. Vegas. :D

4. You'll get strong customer service from Greg, myself and everyone connected to the event all season long.

5. Did I mention it's Vegas? :D

6. If you sign up, I'll make sure Greg treats you right with plenty of drink tickets. :D

So what's stopping you?

You are in a no-lose situation. If you do terribly in the NFBC, you can say that Football is your sport and you had to do something to entertain yourself during the summer... BUT if you do well at Baseball, now you can proclaim that you are a fantasy sports genius, able to compete at the highest levels in two sports!

For the small investment ($1300)...you have your DAILY...repeat...DAILY fix of excitement!!!

It gives you a reason to pick up a newspaper!

Football season will seem to get here in a flash, you'll be so happily occupied!

DO IT! :D You'll be happy you did!

You may even like it as much as football...or at least more than you think!

There's WAY more strategy...competing in your league as well as the overall in each category!

You have 162 full games to employ your plan...and 161 games to adjust that plan!

You get to enjoy a rabid crew of baseball die hards that have a fairly active message board year round! (even though you will betray them all for the football MB when that full bodied, curvy and sensual woman known as September hits the calendar!)

It's the closest you'll get to being a female Tarantula...popping out 30 babies, and giving your love and attention to each.

I went too far. :(

I'm also an NFFC veteran and will be playing in the NFBC main event for the first time this year.

I had never played fantasy baseball in my entire life and decided to join a couple of NFBC satellite leagues last year. I somehow managed to win $2,000 by winning a $250 satellite league (still not sure how that happened though... :D ) So if I could win there is hope for anyone.. :D

Even though I love fantasy football, I gotta tell you that my experience with fantasy baseball last year was awesome! I'm hooked and will be playing it for the rest of my days! :D

So join in the fun and come to Vegas!

Plus the presence of a few more football guys may give me a chance of putting up a decent finish this year in the main event. :D

Our $100,000 champion from baseball -- Ryan Welch and Jeremy -- are coming to Las Vegas to try and become the first multi-sport national grand champion. Welcome aboard guys as we're working on our 10th league in Sin City right now. Better late than never.

Original NFBC member George Beason hails from Chattanooga, Tennessee and we've had some fun with him in Las Vegas the last four years, but this year he's switching over to Orlando for the main event. That leaves us back at nine full leagues for Las Vegas, but gives us another owner for Orlando. Welcome to the Sunshine State George.
