I don't think it could happen, but if 11 of these guys open the season on the DL I won't be able to stop laughing for a week.

[/QUOTE]Yes, Chest.. clearly only the known elite here are allowed to post their thoughts and feelings on things. Hell, if that were true, you should shut yer trap (not likely). Do you TRY to be a dick, or does it just come naturally to you? I'm guessing the latter...

P.S. It was a 3rd place finish. I'm not bragging, nor have I ever. I do expect to improve though since that was my first year doing roto... always did points before.

Thanks for the 24 hour window offer...but I've never cancelled a wager yet, so we're locked in Kevin! (It's punishment to myself for allowing Mr. Hyde out of his cage!) :D :D :D

Not the best nor most interesting bet to track, but a bet nonetheless.

How many bets do you make per year, Lance? I mean, I guess I should have known from your name...

Side bets...maybe 10 per baseball and 10 per football season.

It varies year to year.

I'm gonna go ahead and assume this guy wasn't expecting 3 pages of comments regarding his team. And certainly wasn't thinking most of it would regard a wager on how many players would hit the DL. And if that's not enough, the guy who takes the under, in the sober light of day, clearly prefers he had found something else to post about the night before.

As far as you Dave it is called not caring what some punk thinks about you. You may call it a dick if you like. My track record in this contest is not Childs or Kenyon like but a lot of people including you after 3 years in would take it. That only leaves the question what you are worse at a) coming across like your league champ cheated b/c he beat you to Braun and Carmona fair and square on waivers b) finding research on possible batting avg declines in a timely manner c) Being obvious that you want one of those guys cheap d) researching people's past success in this contest- .
