Congratulations Bobby. I enjoyed watching this battle throughout the season. You bested some pretty tough hombres to take this home. Y'know a friend of mine keeps telling me how much luck is involved to sit in your seat today. Granted, but when luck comes your way in this game, you have to be skilled enough that it actually matters! I raise my glass......................
Congratulations again.

Thanks again everyone. Kevin, that is usually a curse when you love your team after the draft but I did feel I was in a good position with a little luck during the season. Players just kept falling to me and I had to change on the fly. Manny in the 4th, Guillen in the 5th, Bay in the 8th and Damon in the 12th to name a few. I thought we were absolutely stacked hitting and that end up being the weaker of the 2. Pitching really over exceeded our expectations. Getting Cliff Lee in week 2 did not hurt either I specifically remember looking at your draft on draft day and thinking "Man, are you loaded!". I'm not surprised you won it.
I guess 50+ mock drafts did it for you! lol

Congratulations, Bobby. This was my 3rd year playing in the NFBC and 2nd year in the main. Strong finish and a well-deserved, well-earned championship for you. Just wanted to tell you congrats.

Bobby, now that you won, you must avoid the curse of the NFBC. I have seemingly observed this phenomenon several times. It happens in 3 stages:
1. Win 100K.
2. Name next year's team something like "Some 100K Required" or "Jurney's Home of the 100K" or "Robert Jurney #1 Overall 2008, Baby".
3. End up around #250 next year.
Just go with Some Assembly Required 5 and you should be okay.

thanks Brian, not going to change the name and not even going to change the KDS, I am selecting #9 as my first choice. I have already starting preparing for next year and will definitely not take anything for granted. Do not want to be a one year wonder never to be heard from again. I was reading another topic about when to start preparing and the norm is around December/January but there is no break for me this season. I am already working on projections and will make adjustments as players move. "Some Assembly Required 5" suits me just fine
