NFBC Champions Mock Draft Results

Since I'm the one who made the selection of Crawford in the Champions mock draft. What else he might do isn't the issue for me. He WILL! steal enough bases to make a team competeive(at least in the middle of the pack) in SB's by himself. He's got great upside potential in all those other areas previously mentioned. So the rest of the draft you can make picks that help the other 4 categories knowing that with just a few more steals from an MI or whomever you'll cover SB's and you cam concentrate on the other's. In my opinion, To try and dominate SB's isn't a way to win a league or the 100K. Crawford's a top ten pick without question (in my mind.)

As far as the value of Mocks I tend to agree with Gekko. There's little to be gained by "sparkling" in a Mock with nothing at stake. I found the fact that (1.) The avaiable players were not listed in alphabetical order so it was difficult to know who was still avaiable and the other teams were not visIble so who was drafting what, couldn't be factored in. (2) I tried to stay within a 1 minute limit to pick-- as it got later it was apparent that there was no penalaty for taking more time (but searching through unalphabetised lists was frustrating and annoying) and since it mattered little I really didn,t care. (3) The site probably can be "learned" maybe!! These things can probably be set to make it more user friendly for the drafter but I don't have an interest in being the best "Mock Drafter" and my time can be better spent. (4) Like Gekko intimated there will always be wise guys using the Mocks to Blow smoke, darken form, or sow disinformation.

I hadn't ever done a "Mock" before, so I tried it and now I know. They are of little use to me personally. If you want a consensus buy a couple mags. I for one won't be doing a Mock again.

Alphonso is Al Capones Great Grand Nephew and the word came down from the Chicago Boys to take him early. You know how Al loved baseball. So I wouldn't laugh at him. Besides I couldn't find Beckett or Hoffman on the pitcher list ( wasn't sure if they had been taken) so I decided to make Al's day.
