I'm sure it would be nice to set your lineup 10 days before the start of the season, but I don't see it as a major problem. These guys have put a ton of work into a game for us. It's amazing to see how much negative press they get.

I just left the conference center where Greg and Ryan are working. Greg is bombarded with 100's of E-mails that can be answered by reading the messaged boards or looking at the rules.

They are aware of the problem. It just hasn't been corrected yet. Shawn I respect you a ton and also respect the amount of hours being put into this event by Greg Tom Ryan Geoff and the rest of the Fanball team. I don't think the problem is necessarily being able to see rosters or update them 10 days in advance. I think it's the concern that things aren't working now and we only have 10 days to go and the powers that be will surely be tied up this weekend. If this issue is popping up then what issues will pop up that first FAAB period? People are having issues with the draft software still and now there are issues with rosters on the new layout. How are any of us supposed to feel as calm as you do that FAAB will run smoothly? I want to feel comfortable that it will be fine but with the way some things have gone it is hard to have that warm and fuzzy feeling.
[/QUOTE]I agree with the FAAB point. I guess we get our first real look at it next week when the roster are loaded the pressure is on. My point was more directed at the save button for the rosters.

A lot of people can say they are working hard but the real fact of the matter is that the only thing that counts is results. You don't get paid for working hard, you get paid for the results you produce. I think that the players here have a valid concern about where we are on the calendar and the issues that remain on the table.

seeing as this is my first "big boy" fantasy league I am a little nervous as well but I think things will be alright...I do think that KDS deadlines, Draft Orders..etc..should be finalized more than just a few days before the drafts.

Thome is listed as a 1B and can be moved to CI.

are there any updates for when we should be able to set our lineups correctly? The silence is a deafening.

Still waiting for my slow draft team to be loaded though.

I cannot save my changes in slow draft #12, I can in the $250 Satellite I drafted on Wednesday night. That's weird that its different league by league. I must say that I'm getting nervous that we're going to have a ton of problems come April 4.

Folks,

The fine Fanball tech team has gone through all of the issues that have been reported and come to the conclusion that the teams seeing issues are those in Slow Drafts with a Placeholder currently on their roster.

Please take note that the entire system was never "broken" for all teams in all leagues. This issue was exclusive to teams with a Placeholder.

The issue will be corrected soon when I have a chance to go through and manually update those Placeholders into the players that you drafted on Mock Draft Central. Please be patient, as that will be done sometime next week when Greg and Tom return to the office.

If you're seeing the issue and it doesn't fit into what I've described above, please e-mail me with your name and league: [email protected].

Thanks much! Best of luck to those drafting this weekend.

Geoff,

I won't send you the email on this one because I'd rather wait for the weekend to come and go and see if the pattern repeats itself but the issues I've seen with the setting the lineups in my two leagues where the players are loaded is that if I attempted to change the lineup with more than one simple player change, the lineup would not stick. In other words if I tried to move multiple players to/from bench/positions. The fewer requests I'd make in the move the more likely it would stick. Clearly 'buggy'..

Hopefully it gets ironed out though..

Jon

Jon If that isn't a Slow Draft with a Placeholder, please send me the info immediately so we can start working on it.
