Sorry I was out of touch today, but I spent my 50th at a Children's Hospital as my daughter needs surgery again. We had all day of pre-surgery X-rays and tests. I'll tell you what, if a day like that doesn't make you appreciate every single minute of every single day I don't know what does. Last night I'm in a pissing email match with a customer and the next day I'm seeing real life right in front of me. It sobers you up.

Danielle will be fine and it's part of a three-step process to cure something she was born with. This is Step Two. She will be recovering this summer while others are playing and then going through it again next summer, but it's what we have to do. To know she can handle this one and to know how much better she will be after this is the best present any dad can have.

Kent, we'll be at DisneyWorld someday. You can buy us ice cream down there when the time comes!! How's that for a cheap date. All is good on my 50th and I'm almost ready for my first cold one of my fifth decade. :D

I love that Corona picture. Only Quahogs would be astute enough to see the mayonnaise in the back!! :D Retire in a few years?Greg you mean to tell us you're not going to be lining up the Corona's at the 25th anniversary of the NFBC?
Yes, as a participant with my son as the co-manager. ;) Will I have to pay an Events Fee and a co-manager fee in 2029? :D

You know it is funny I was going to make a suggestion and thought it might not be my place- but you kinda brought it up. How about as a gift a donation to the Children's Hospital where your daughter is being treated. For those of you who have sent me a PM I could still collect do it in my name and I will obviously gross it up for the tax benefits I would get from it and kids win even more.

Now is that an idea you could feel comfortable with Greg?
I'll give you the phone number/address for May 24th operation. That would be nice. Nothing too big, so stop taking donations. But that would be a nice touch.

Sometimes folks give you flowers at your funeral and you don't get to appreciate the fact that people actually loved you. Knowing they love you enough to brighten your child's day is the best. Great thought and I'll point you in the right direction. It will make her and my wife very happy. Thanks for the thought.
THANK YOU Kent and to everyone who contributed to Danielle's recovery gift. Monday is going to be another long day, but this will help her during her recovery time. You folks are too nice.

As I told Kent, my wife cried last night when I told her that some folks wanted to surprise Danielle with this get-well gift. She said "how the hell do they know about this?" I told her and she couldn't believe that some folks actually cared enough to help out. Now at least she has a better appreciation for why I spend so much time at home on the computer!! :D She thanks everyone who is wishing Danielle well.

Again MANY THANKS. Just too nice. All is going to be good once we're back on our feet later this summer. Thanks all.
