RT BASEBALL TRIP!!!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed May 25, 2011 7:47 am

The RT Road Show has singlehandedly increased scoring in Major League Baseball. After brats, burgers and beers in Milwaukee where he saw a 3-2 Brewers' win on Saturday night and a 3-1 Brewers' win in 80 degree sunshine on Sunday, the RT caravan packed up and headed to Minnesota. There the Mariners beat the Twins 8-7 in 10 innings on Monday night. RT then headed to Chicago where he got a tour of the STATS facility on Tuesday afternoon and a look at Wrigley Field for a night game. He said he had plenty of beers, so I'm sure he let out some of that beer in the cow trough urinals at the Friendly Confines!! :D (Admission One: I'm never very good at peeing that way in a group. :D ) RT's presence provoked an unusual 11-1 win by the Cubs.

A quick turnaround led RT to Cleveland for an early afternoon game where he has seen a 7 run first inning by the Red Sox and now a 14-0 lead against an Indians team that had the best home record in baseball. The Red Sox already have 20 hits in this game, more than RT saw in about 4 previous games. Amazing.

The RT Road Show must head home for the busy holiday weekend. Safe driving buddy and hopefully you'll have good weekend and big sales at the pizza joint this weekend. Happy Trails to you.

Hope you're training, RT! My plan is still to run the Rehoboth Beach Marathon in December. If all goes to plan., I'll be there scarfing pizza the night before (in moderation of course...so I don't relive it during the race).

Cheers!
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Denny has a great Zach Greinke white Brewers' jersey on, but he put on the old T-shirt to prevent grease from splattering his nice shirt while he cooked the brats and burgers!!! :D He would have fit in perfectly without the old high school T-shirt on!! :D

Great fun and I have no idea where those cans of Miller beer came from!! :D
