From what I hear, Dan coined the term Georgia Peach for his good buddy Ty Cobb on one of their fishing trips. And his golf outings with the Splendid Splinter, Big Train and Ducky Medwick are the stuff of legend. Too bad Dan couldn't put his firsthand experiences/knowledge to good use:P You just named my four sleepers.

They would have been great value picks.

What other pet peeves of yours can I use Dan? :D

Now back to what's important......Dave?!?!?
Long ago, I posted what I felt was the greatest fantasy season of all time.

Or was it yesterday?

I don't know....

I do know that Cobb and Williams would be sickened to see their stats used in this way. I can't repeat what Cobb said, although he'd still rail about home runs being *#%^ overrated.

Williams would insist we're missing out on the beauty of hitting and merely upchucking his results on paper.

Glenn, you failed to mention that the first drafter will be 'on pace' to have incredible stats.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
If given the ok from Mr. Childs, I can probably narrow it down and pick tonight. If everyone is better of with Saturday though, I can easily wait until then

I think everyone will have a great chance to win this. Every player (345 total) are deserving a first draft pick. Just because you are not drafting 1-4, there will be plenty of picks for the rest of us. So good luck to everyone. Just to let you know, you will need it.

Here is the link to the draft tracker -- I will be updating and posting every few picks.

If you want to use it yourself, all you need to do is type/paste in the standard roto stats in the hitting or pitching page, add in the team number and position as described in the instruction page.

Normally, I would load it with projections, but the player pool is so big, it would forever to upload/download

Please send me any questions if you are having trouble.

I mean there is an advantage to picking in those first couple of picks but in no way would you then have to be lucky to win, I mean there are 23 rounds and a ton of monster fantasy seasons out there, I think we all have a chance to win this thing. Good luck to everyone in the league.

Shawn, if you're going to start a new thread for the draft, I'd suggest keeping it in the General Discussion section. I know you're looking for feedback during the draft so I'd keep it in the forum most visited.

Dave, Shawn's given his blessing. Let's get this Bad Boy going. It's either that or I start sifting through the crap available in FAAB for my football teams. Please save me from that ordeal tonight!!!

By the way Dan, we're currently all "on pace" to finish first in this thing.

All Time Draft Tracker This won't work right for BA, ERA, and whip without the whole stat line.
It needs H and AB for BA, BB, H and IP for WHIP and ER and IP for ERA. It does not need the actual BA, ERA and WHIP. And of course, the other stats like doubles, etc.
