Cuddyer from the training bench to the field.
Dickerson and Stubbs from the playing field to the bench.
For every good in fantasy baseball, there is a bad....or two.

Arencibia sent down?
Didn't somebody say that he was a secret home run hitter this year?

"Agent Scott Boras told FOX Sports' Jon Morosi that Alex Guerrero's ear was "displaced by a bite" during an altercation with Triple-A Albuquerque teammate Miguel Olivo.

Well then. It's not clear what caused the incident, but Dodgers general manager Ned Colletti said Tuesday that the club is looking into it. Guerrero is undergoing plastic surgery on his ear and it's not clear how long he'll be sidelined. The Cuban defector is hitting .368/.411/.737 with 10 homers and 29 RBI in 32 games this season at Albuquerque."

Mmmmmm....ears....you know...Tyson and Olivo have never been photographed together....

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Wow! Didn't think we'd see another ear-biting sports story after Iron Mike. Methinks Miguel Olivo may be looking for work soon.

One of my pitchers, Justin Verlander, is getting the stuffing beaten out of him. I don't think he's looked "right" all year, but now the weak-hitting Indians are shelling him. I suspect a DL trip is coming ....

Sal Perez sitting with a bad thumb. Some worry he may need a DL stint.

And now Wacha gets hit by a foul ball in the dugout and has to come out of the game. You just can't make this shit up!

May is hammy month, 2012 data = 32 % of Hammys that caused players to miss games were in May... even The Flying Fish is out today with a strained hammy and who knows how long he will be day to day or DH for a few days...

Carlos Gonzalez - finger inflammation.

He was due for his annual DL stint, so not a big surprise if that's where this leads.

George Springer - strained hip flexor.

Per Rotoworld, sounds like Prince Fielder is considering season-ending surgery.
