Greg,

I'm also in for whatever amount you see fit. I'm the team that had some trouble with my screen going blank and got Bonds (Rd-2) and Sheffield (Rd-3)computer picks. Although I wasn't planning on choosing those players at that time, who knows? They may become my best picks.

Godd luck to all team owners. Agreed, top three get free entry with first place getting Greg's bonus. Greg, can you run our credit cards for this event at the same time you do for the other events or will different arrangements have to be made?

If the top three teams get free 2007 entry and the top team gets Greg's extra bonus you can count me in for the $250 fee. Thanks.

Yeah, I'll do this and give three free entries plus the $500 Satellite league if you guys want to do this. Seems like a worthy investment for all 15 guys. I won't do anything with this league until Feb. 15, so if you DON'T want to participate at $250, let me know. We'll finalize this in a month or so. Good luck everyone.

Greg,

So what are the final prizes for this league and when will you send through the $250 fee to our credit cards? Thanks!

One more question Greg, when will we see these teams entered and attached to our profiles?

Good questions all. I'm assuming Greg is hitting our credit cards on the 15th as was agreed, but I also don't have this team listed under 'my teams'.

We have CC's Desperadoes, Science 69, DOUGHBOYS, Chest Rockwell, bmike, plymouth, draftboard guy, Stan, Coops, Team Herron, and Philly Cheesesteaks all agreeing to the $250 fee. Thats 11. Who are the other four and can the other four contact Greg and say they're up for it or tell us on the MB that you're not up for it?

So I guess we need 5 now. Unless someone else is using "Stan" that I don't know about. I copied everyone's names from the original draft when we completed it and list them below. I'm not sure how they synch with team names. Anyway, Coops/Stan are in for $250.

John Swol

Joe Thelan

Shawn Childs

Mike Cameron

Jeff Cooper - in for $250

Steve Tavaso

Dan Kenyon

Kevin Rogers

Michael Caputo

Nate Ravitz

Jeff Peters

Mark Yagan

Jesse Herron

John Hogan

Maybe Tom or Greg can e-mail all the owners in this league and get a firm yes or no from each one, trying to get this done on the message board is not working. Thanks. John S.

How much is Greg going to keep if he collects- cannot expect him to do it for free he has direct expenses related to collecting this money at the least. Do we want to consider collecting it ourselves. I am willing to take the small risk of paying someone else and willing to take on collections of it. Before we think about that road- I would like some other opinions on comfort level there...

I am up for either way on the payment, I will be drafting in New York. I would like to have all owners involved but a good majority is okay.

Thank You

Looks to me like this is not going to happen and we will be playing for Greg's prize. We need to set a deadline for this one way or the other. I have other places to invest my money if I am not going to spend it here but I can't sit around on my butt waiting. Thanks, John S.

So why not just payout to the people who paid in? For example if 4 don't respond and pay in, then and they win the top 4 spots, start your pay out with the first person who did?

Just a thought

I am not excited about paying in if not everyone is going to pay, it can skew the outcome if some teams do not have the same irons in the fire.

I will take the payments for this league and not take anything to run it. This is our Champions League, so I don't need to make anything on it. Give me the official list of those who want to play for $250 each and I'll take it off later. I think the idea was to give an NFBC free entry to the top three teams, so finishing in the top three nets you the same prize. I like that format. If we don't get all 15 owners to pay, then we'll reduce appropriately from the third place prize.

Sound like a deal?

Now just post the names here and we'll hit the ccs in a week or two. First FAAB period is Sunday, March 26th for this league.
