anyone have any thoughts on Soriano? He says he won't play in the outfield and the Nationals already have Vidro who can about only play second.

Will Bill Hall or Corey Hart get enough playing time to have any fantasy value?

Soriano's very interesting. I don't subscribe to the belief that he's just going to be a dog this season. I think his SBs will still be strong and I think he'll continue to be a solid hitter. I think we'll see a decline but as drastic as some believe.
With regard to the Brewers, I wouldn't expect Hart to see much action unless Lee is traded -- which could happen. Hall will get some ABs but it'll be tough for him to see a lot of time with Weeks locked in at 2B and Koskie and Hardy so good defensively on the left side of the infield. His best chance to play IMO is if Hardy struggles at the plate again.

Do you think they'd move Lee before the season? Or only if they are out of it? The Brewers seemingly could be that surprise team this year and you'd think they'd want to hold onto a veteran RBI machine thumper like Lee. Maybe even extend him...

Hall was taken in the 11th round of the KP Experts draft this week. Surprised the hell out of me.

I don't think the Brewers will trade Lee unless they're out of contention. They have shown no indication they want to sign him to an extension so a trade is very possible IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a two-time champ at some point, Gordon. We definitely have some terrific fantasy players who compete in both of our events. And given the skill level of each of our four champions to date I would be hard-pressed to select one as a possible two-time winner.

Is Pedro's toe thing for real or they just playing that up to get him out of the WBC?

The toe injury is real and it's something to keep an eye on. He's going to wear a special shoe designed to alleviate the problem so we'll have to see how he adjusts and if it works.

Apparently the market is not giving much of a discount on the toe thing because Pedro's going 2nd round a lot of places, up there behind Santana and close to Peavy...

I wouldn't downgrade him just yet. I think he has at least 1-2 more strong seasons in him.

Is it his drag toe or landing toe?

I think Delgado is shaping up to be a bit of a value pick. I think he'll be good for his usual 30/100+ season.
And the injury is to Pedro's right toe.

As a met fan i cant believe how high reyes and wright are going this year -- i hope they justify those predictions because it will bode well for the team -- i think beltran will have a bounceback yr with Delgado backing him

60 is probably a bit low but speed is going ahead of its time so some power guys are dropping a bit in the 2nd thru 4th rounds

That's why I took Beltran at 3:1 in the KP Expert draft this week.
