Mike, we'll figure out a way to make this work in New York. Give us some time to talk on Monday and make sure everyone is on board with any time changes. Tom is right that any Auction League that starts at 10 am won't get done until 3:30 or so. That's just the nature of 15-team Mixed Auction Leagues. And we know that there are folks who do both auctions in the Big Apple and will need some time to compress. Plus, moving anything an hour earlier or an hour later in New York City changes a lot of travel plans for folks. It's not as easy as telling folks to leave the pool an hour earlier in Las Vegas and come to the DaVinci Ballroom for an earlier start!! 8-)

But let's see what we can do and if we can even have the ballroom past midnight. We're still working on all of those details yet. We'll do what we can to load up Friday night, but anyone planning on doing both better have a partner for the $1 bids and reserve rounds in the auction. That much is clearly plain if we're doing both on one night. Thanks.

Understood...I will line up a partner, in case it is needed. I appreciate you guys trying to accomodate both.
It's a tough call...the auction is my favorite league, but as many on the boards know, it's also fun beating the mouth.

I already made it clear to Roy and now also Ante, that they will need to line up a co-manager for that night in order to swing both of these events, and they're both on board and fine with it as well... 8-)

I am working on the cloning process so i can be in two places at the same time or just run really fast. Starting the auction at 4:00 would be a big help if everyone is able to get there at that time.( That includes me, had trouble getting to the auction on time the last 2 years. made it by minutes both times. Won't happen this year I am going to leave Jersey 4 hours early this year. No problems i'm in the city in 20 minutes).

I cannot think of a worse use utilization of cloning technology, but if it gets you to both drafts, great!

Thanks Ken. OK, it looks like we have 14 owners confirmed for this league. Jay and John want to stay in this league but I'll keep the tentative tag on their signup just in case for now. That leaves Mark and Jason to confirm if they're in for sure. No rush guys. :D

Don't worry Alan, Andy Saxton is already trying to come up with ways to back out of this Auction. ;)

Jeff, you have me there. I'm stuck with a real LUNATIC as a partner.

Andy, looking forward to playing the best. Looks like this year is setting up well with several Auctions and I prefer the format. That and MTM is such an easy mark, when you beat the same dog down time after time it can get old. ;)

Tom:

Welcome back. Was that my spot? I posted last week on another thread I could only do the AM Auction
because of a schedule switch. I think Alan Greenberg was next in line. Please remove this from my team page
as well. This was the $1300 on 3/29. Thanks.

yeah sack told me he was scared to compete against saxton/dobies in 2 auctions in same day so he wanted to bail. Or maybe it was the work schedule. I like the first reason better.
