I'm still a tentative here, but I kinda like the symmetry of $20K/$5K/$1K.....but I'm cool with whatever the majority prefers.

This is going to fill soon. It will be a "One of a kind" draft. I guarantee it. The field is ridiculously strong with the exception of Mickey (according to some) and myself. The rest are a who's who. It's first come first serve and as always the preference.

Sack, call your boys and get the "Hall of Famers" in here. We already have one and there are future ones that are knocking on the door that are entered and will be in someday. That "Pig Farmer" buddy of yours and Mr. Childs deserve a phone call from you before this thing fills. Past Main event champions need to join the fray.

This will be a special night and one not to be missed.

Joe

Mr. Cassevetes, your presence is requested. I've been holding a special bottle of wine for you since you took care of my daughter and I. I plan on telling that story (with your permission) someday. Bring it Nicko!!

If you're going to have a third place prize, you might as well have it be $2500, otherwise why even bother with the $1000? Not that it will matter to me because I'm still tentative, and if I did compete in this, first or, in the worst case scenario, second place would be the only spot I'd finish anyway. 8-)

I don't need to punch you in the mouth, Magner. You can barely move your fat ass these days anyway. All I'd need to do is wave a cheeseburger in front of your face and you'd cave. :P

Joe: The Pig Farmer and I have a Gentleman's agreement to not get in each others way. This allows us open discussions both before and during the season. Childs usually finds his way into these leagues at the last minute, usually "helping" somebody.

Mikey, like the snapshot. Where can I get a Cheeseburger that large? Probably need two of them. ;)

Paying 3 spots in a 12 team league is unconscionable. Are we not men?

Make it $21/5 or $20/6

No matter how hard everyone tries, NOBODY can touch Quahogs when it comes to posting appropriate photos!! Nice one here, Steve!!

I'm all for receiving feedback on the prize payouts for this league, but let's make them reasonable so that we can sell this league not only in the future but for possibly a second Super League. We also want to make sure we have everyone fighting for a money spot throughout the season, although I'm sure if anyone lays down in this league you guys will berate them mercilessly!! Keep the suggestions coming and we'll make the final call on this one. Thanks.

Looking at the line-up, it reminds me of the quote of Matt Damon in Rounders when he's trying to find the weakest link around the table (or whatever he says) but can't find it, realizing he's the one... :o

Okay, this event is tentatively SOLD OUT, but since there are 4 on the list as unsure if they will participate I'll leave things open. Heck, with this early demand maybe we'll have interest in another 12-Team Super League!!

Donn Johnson, who won the NFBC Diamond League title and $75,000, has thrown his name into the ring for this 12-Team Super League!! Yup, the competition just keeps getting more impressive each day. This is going to be a lot of fun and Donn is ready for the 12-team challenge. This should be a LOT of fun and it could be our Friday marquee event for years to come.

Here's the current signup list. If you're listed as tentative, just let us know either way when you can and we'll make sure this league is filled up with 12 owners in Las Vegas. Thanks all.

Okay, this event has been finalized. Now here is the current signup list:

Mike
Been selling the Friday night event on the 375 #4 board as the event to see on March 22, actually in Vegas that weekend, we'll have a crowd, better show up for it...been throwing your name around, people can't wait to see and hear what's gonna be said during the event.
Take the tentative away, let's go....

Glenn, you and I know who the weakest link at the table is with this group. It isn't my
CDM brother Gates. It is the guy with the Big Mouth that we always beat on in these events.

Ya know, maybe we should buy him a drink or two. I mean, how much has he donated to
us over the last few seasons?

What do you say Massotto - let Glenn and I buy you a few rounds. Maybe you can hang stickers
for the event. I'll even kick in the $100 to pay you. Hey, the least I can do in order for you to
say that you were in the room for this event. You can talk all the smack you want - while you
are hanging the stickers. We will all be impressed and then at nights end, you will be able to see
how 12 solid NFBC lineups look like. Heck, this may help your shitty, low level game. We will call
this a public service to one helluva nice guy. A loser, but still a nice guy. ;)

No, it's definitely not our friend from up north, unless we're referring to Northern Jersey. :)
