BaseballTangent-- Boys Noise or Real

Post by beebeeGunZ » Sat Jul 15, 2006 10:13 am

I'm a regular poster/friend of BaseballTangent - I'm not affiliated with their entry nor do I have any control over their entry. I know that Kevin and Aaron are pondering the future of website right now, and am not sure what the future holds.

What I do know is that Ray Durham has made all of the clowns in this thread look stupid - he's outperformed 2B drafted 15 rounds ahead of him and is one of the best value based selections of 2006.

Any comments on the subject at hand, Ray Durham? Or are you too busy whiping egg off of your face?

You could try to convince Beebee how wrong he is- but I think we should continue to let him be ignorant.

7. SOD - Spawn of the Devil

8. SOD - acronym meaning **** On Dick implying that the person that likes it practices anal intercourse

9. SOD - Silly Old Duffer, used to refer to a senile elderly relative

10. SOD - Stormtroopers of Death

11. SOD - can also refer to someone being like the ground/mud. If one is "sodden," they are saturated with mud.

Not sure what any of these definitions has to do with Ray Durham, but there ya go...

Any comments on the subject at hand, Ray Durham? Or are you too busy whiping egg off of your face? My question to you is:...Do you have him on your team? If you do a can guaratee, you aren't winning your league unless you picked him up after week ten.

Nobody said Durham can't play. We just view him as a player we can't depend on. If you drafted him, it would be tough to stick with him when he didn't do much for the first 6 weeks of the year. Never mind he had less than 10 at bat in week 4-6. It is tough to market time in this game. He would have buried you early. Most players would be looking for the Brandon Phillips types to replace him.

On the other hand, if you were looking for a possible player that could help you on the wire. He might have been there in most leagues in week 10. He would then be a great find, but for how long? Will he get nicked up again?

As for middle infielder, I'll take my Jose Lopez and Hanley Ramirez who I took in round 22 and 23.

When you get you head out of Ray's A$$, It only cost $1250 to play. I would bet you would have the same results as your Baseball Tangent heros.

This game is the toughest around. Talk is cheap.

Would you like to comment on my prediction on how they would finish before the season? We all know it set a record for posts in one day over there on baseball tangent.

Lance, the stupidity wheels of this country were set in motion LONG before urbandictionary. Just consider it the latest example...

#20 today for Ray-Ray, to go with RBIs 75, 76, and 77. Not to mention the .292 average.

Anyone still laughing at Ray Durham being drafted in the mid-20 rounds?

Smack talking is Cheap. Let's make it REAL!! Kevin you are aware that they stoled Ray Durham late for some speed? Are you sure you want to do this?
[/QUOTE]Funny thing is BEE BEE- has not stayed on subject, the original post was above about Durham. They drafted and we made fun of them for speed- how many bases has he stolen. I think the young man's ADD may be acting up.
