it's funny to see correa go so high. due to his hype i had a feeling he would be drafted in first half of drafts. i think people are missing a key red flag, esp given his price point.

Agree. Tough to hit a ton of bombs when half your balls in play are grounders.

+this doesn't even include pitchers adjusting to him this offseason

i wouldn't be surprised if he hit under 20 HR this year. i didn't own him on any of my 22 teams last year, and i don't anticipate owning him this year given his ridiculous price point.

He reminds of another SS that everyone was all excited about and was going to be a big star. Then he went out and hit 6 HR in 465 AB at AA. Not sure whatever became of him. Last I heard Boston traded him to Florida for Josh Beckett.

As far as potential #1's.....

"Bryce Harper said at Nats WinterFest on Sunday that he'd like to steal more bases next season "if they let me."
Harper stole 29 bases in his first two seasons but has a total of just eight swipes over the last two years. However, he'll get to work with base-running guru Davey Lopes in 2016, which could result in an uptick in steals if new manager Dusty Baker gives him the green light. It's potentially great news for Harper's already-elite fantasy value, although running more could also increase the chances of him getting injured."

But wait....On Februay 25, 2015...

"Mike Trout said Wednesday that two of his biggest goals for this season are to cut down on his strikeouts and increase his stolen bases.
Both goals would be a good thing for fantasy owners. Trout led the AL with 184 strikeouts last season, which he believes was a result of him chasing the high pitch. He plans to show more restraint in 2015, so getting his average closer to .300 again isn't out of the realm of possibility. Trout stole just 16 bases last season after amassing 33 in 2013 and 49 in 2012. We'd like to see some more speed from him, but it would really just be a bonus. He should be the consensus No. 1 pick in most fantasy leagues this year."

Sounds good, right...by May 9th, he was 7-for-7 stealing bases. He went 4-for-11 the rest of the way...hohum....

The top 5 seem fairly consistently, in some order, Trout, Harper, Goldy, Kershaw, and Donaldson. The 6-10 spots are so wide open and there's a number of directions to go. 11-15 seems to be cleaning up whatever talent is left after 6-10 pick. Even with the disgusting turns some people are making at the end of 1 and into 2, I'm still a fan of 1-15 KDS this year.

No, you should not feel bad. This is truly a "don't ask, don't tell" world. If somebody asks my opinion of somethings (i.e. does Fielder qualify at 1B) I will give them my honest answer. If they do not ask, well, we all are competitors and most of us have been wearing long pants for a while (which is good since most of us would be butt ugly in a skirt).

These listings do not help.

Fielder and Sano are correctly listed at UT in the draft room and on the draft board. I'd hope that people would see that.

Sorry, I'm grabbing this data from the easiest spot for me to cut and paste here. I didn't see that Fielder was listed wrongly there, but that's just for me. Maybe I need to get these results from team pages going forward, but again these players are listed correctly in the draft room, so anyone doing their homework should see that before picking.
