I see Vince Velasquez, Noah Syndergaard, and Carlos Carrasco on a lot of those rosters. I don't think the guy is just "throwing darts". To his credit, he has 6 of the top 10 teams.. Its early but I think he knows what he is doing. It doesnt seem like he put together 68 different combinations , to see if one will win. He seems to have a similar roster structure on many of the teams.

The only thing that's kept him from being at or near the top of the Main Event rank is that he used to play mostly in the 12's and DCs ... now he's loading up on Mains too, and still winning.

Kudos Eric on an amazing performance. I know you won't respond. But I find it fascinating how you don't mind spending all your FAAB dollars so early. In my main with Eric, he won Gomez, the closer, and Mazara and has $44 dollars left. I respect how obviously dedicated you are to this game we play.

I was just looking at the Rotowire Online Championship overall standings. One owner has 8 teams in the top 20 and 68 teams overall in that contest. Even though time will tell, I would say his odds for winning are pretty good. (Imagine the time he will have to spend doing FAAB.)

He also has a lot of teams in other contests:

Rotowire Online Championship = 68 TEAMS

Cutline Championship = 27 TEAMS

Draft Championship = 35 TEAMS

Main Event = 6 TEAMS

Eric Heberlig has 24 places listed on the League Champions prize page for just over $24K.
No overall prizes that I could see. Not sure if he cashed in any private leagues.

That's enough of a return to bankroll many of the 2017 entries if he's going that hard again.

In the 24 leagues where he cashed, he spent $9600 and won $24150.
Sixteen of these leagues were OC and one was OCPlus.

If it's accurate to say he was in 68 OC leagues and assuming only one of those was the OC Plus, he spent an additional $17850 on teams where he did not cash.

Spent at least $27450 won $24150. Private leagues not included.
If he's playing on other sites he's probably crushing the competition.


Hopefully he's reporting NET earnings on his taxes otherwise he's going to have a hard time breaking even.

Thanks for doing this, it seems one could take a lesser approach playing in lesser risk contests and actually make money, just not hundreds of thousands
