OK. I'm the dinosaur! I went 1-15. Ended up second pick. I'm stuck in the box. Back in the 60th's being stuck the box meant .... ah never mine children read this.

My order is the 2nd one down on the list....I feel pretty much the same as you Perry, in that I would like one of the top 3 players and then if I can't get one of them I like sitting in the middle of each round. I do not like to ever start positional runs, but I don't want to be shut out either, so sitting in the middle allows for that much better than at the ends.

1. Arod
2. David Wright.
Hoots, catcalls. Greg wondering why did I let him in this draft?

I kinda like this one, you're gathering momentum.

I think Hanley is the pick there, but if you question his shoulder and the negative effects of losing Miggy then Wright to me is just as logical of a choice at 2 as Rollins and Reyes. 30/30 corner infielders who lay down all 5 cats and could get better do not grow on trees.

I'm comfortable drafting anywhere so I don't care if its front, middle or end. I do try to project certain players going in the first few rounds and the optimum spot to get those players. Plus I've never had a number one pick in an NFBC draft and wanted to see what it was like .
As far as Wright going number two, no eye opener here. I think really that a case could be made for each of the top eight picks to go as high as number two. Heck, if you're enamored with power or pitching, Howard, Fielder, and Santana could even be included.
I don't want to bump it up, so I'll say thanks here for all the kind words on the profile thread, very nice of y'all.

I've liked the middle last few yrs, it's good for not getting locked out of positions, but I like the top 6 for now - and the back-end gives the chance for a high-quality 1-2 punch.

Yeah, Cheat Sheets may change a bit after today's announcements. But then again, we may have seen the results already last year and today may just verify WHY some of our players did so poorly in 2007.
Anyway, should be a wild afternoon of press conferences, that's for sure.

Tomorrow will be the kickoff of the real NFBC mock drafts. Only it's not really a mock. It's little Walla Walla vs the pro's. Go easy guys and gal.

Yup, everyone be ready for this one as Tom and Geoff will be on hand to moderate. Let's all get in the draft room on time and cruise through this one. The magazine is waiting for this draft and we'll have some fun with the results on the Message Boards, too. Good luck all.

[/QUOTE]I haven't purchased "the bible" nor have I received any magazines so I'll be winging it the ENTIRE draft....at least I have the 3 mocks as a guideline
