[/QUOTE]I don't have any problems with new ideas and this thread wasn't hijacked. Nothing wrong with discussing the merits of new proposals. Honestly, I want everyone to see how KDS is working and can work so that by Draft Day EVERYONE will take the time to set a list that they feel comfortable with. If that is 1-15, so be it, but I hope everyone sees that in some way KDS can work for them.



I'll have a few more results this morning as the more information I give you folks the more you can slice and dice it to your advantage. Enjoy a few more results as we're heading towards 30+ satellite leagues again this year.

** Four owners got their 1st preference.

** One owner got their 2nd preference and one owner got their 3rd preference.

** 10 of 15 owners got preferences in their top half.

** The worst preferences were 9 (2), 11 and 13.

** Five of 15 owners kept their preferences at 1-15.

** 11 of 15 owners had 1 as their top preference.

** The average draft preference was 5.3.

This next NFBC Satellite League had a chance to be the best KDS league I've seen this year except the last guy got his 15th preference. Before that, the other 14 owners got a preference that was their 3.4th. Very interesting as these folks put a lot of thought into their preferences. Here's the list:

** SIX owners got their No. 1 preference.

** Two owners got their No. 2 preference.

** 12 of 15 owners got a preference in their top half.

** The lowest preferences were 9, 11 and 15.

** The average preference was 4.2, the best so far this year.

** Four owners went with 1-15 as their preferences.

** Nine owners had No. 1 as their top preference. Five of the six owners who didn't have No. 1 as their top preference got their top preference. Awesome.



This is a league where KDS worked very well and you almost wonder why more high-stakes leagues don't use KDS. If owners are drafting where they want to and yet the orders are still chosen randomly, isn't that good for everyone? ;) You'd sure think so.

Here's the last KDS look at an upcoming NFBC Satellite League today. This one worked for some owners and not for others, but for the most part most of the owners moved to more preferred spots. Here's the data:

* Two teams got their No. 1 preference.

* SEVEN teams got their No. 2 preference.

* Three teams got their No. 3 preference.

* 14 of 15 teams got a preference in their Top 6.

* The lowest preference was 10.

* 13 of 15 teams had No. 1 was their first preference.

* FIVE teams had No. 2 as their LAST preference.

Here's the interesting facts:



* Three teams got their No. 1 preference.

* Three teams got their No. 2 preference.

* Three teams got their No. 3 preference.

* 12 of 15 teams got a preference in their Top 6.

* The other preferences were 11, 14, 15.

* 6 teams kept their KDS at 1-15.

* Three more teams had 2 as their last preference.

* The average preference per team was 4.9.



This one worked for most teams, but the teams selected 14th and 15th wound up with the 14th and 15th picks, their final preferences. It didn't change anything for them as nobody else in this league chose to move all the way down to the end. Interesting.
