I think Giants fans are higher on Frandsen that most just because they haven't had anything come out of that system since Clark, Thompson and Williams. He's a scrapper, but in the long run, what is he? Geoff Blum? I think they should have tried to package Winn and Lowry myself. They might have gotten something halfway decent in return and paved the way for one of their 27 year old "youngsters" to get some ab's.

I like Winn too- pretty consistent guy too.
[/QUOTE]I don't disagree but getting over that stuff is what growing up and becoming a successful major leaguer is all about. Like I said he's no guarentee, but I think he's got a good chance.

Everytime I see Kendall at the plate it looks like he's doing everything he can not to strike out. Like facing Eddie Feigner in a softball game.

I wasn't implying you were. It was a broad statement in regards to Giants fans. I live here as well and could give 2 sh*ts about either team:)

In addition to spring training we always have the best of minor league baseball down here, but with winning the division last year and with a good chance to challenge for it again this year, Arizona is definitely on top of the Baseball panorama :D

Hook,

How do you see Arizona splitting pt between their CI, assuming Tracy is healthy?

Second question: Should we assume Tracy is healthy?

It looks from here like Tracy is not ready to resume all baseball activities and I think they will take it very slow with him. Once he is up to speed and ready to hit, it will depend on how Reynolds and CoJack are doing - if very well, he will get an occasional game and some pinch hit AB; if one of them is struggling he may start to share time with that guy; if both of them are okay but neither good they will start to employ a three player rotation with Tracy playing both 1B and 3B.

Hey Capt'n!

I see Santa Ana, CA...but your post make me think you live in ARI???

If you do live or spend lots of time in Arizona...what are your vibes on my boy Conor Jackson? I like how they dumped Tony Clark, so he may be poised for a semi-breakout season.

I just have great vibes they he'll have value in 2008.

This one isn't region specific (unless you live in FL, IL or DC I guess), but who finishes the year with better numbers?

Lastings M.

Felix Pie

~Lance Yo Fellow Pirate - I live in Arizona now - 45 minutes northwest of Phoenix, in Surprise.

Santa Ana is the CA address.

Jackson will need to get his stroke together - as soon as Tracy is healthy and ready they won't have much patience with either CoJack or Reynolds if they are not producing. Forget vibes - watch his results in spring training - he Has the talent but needs to hit this year.

See you in Vegas!

Cameron Maybin If I had to pick one now it would be Milledge.

Maybin has a LOT of talent, but we don't even know if he will start the season in Florida or AAA. Pie can't hold a candle to Maybin or Milledge in offensive talent, but at least he has a job - for now...........

I was thinking the same things with Milledge. IF, Pie gets dealt in that rumored Roberts deal, I think Baltimore throws him out everyday and then I think he might produce as much or a bit more than Milledge.

But I hate to write off Maybin just because of what Florida's kids did 2 years ago.

Still, right now: Milledge, Pie and Maybin.

Pie is NOT part of the proposed trade for Roberts - at least as of now.

Been fun guys - have to go do a few errands....
