Yes, he is.. but I have heard a lot of people disparaging him and saying he is a 4th rounder now, I was surprised to see him in early 3rd round. Not that he is a bad pick there at all.

Dave - There are a few players where contract status could be very meaningful when it come to affecting performance. Manny is one of them. It will be interesting to see where he goes. The only thing he has to do is show up and he's gold. Given manny's attitude, more AB than last year is a GIVEN.

Greg - any chance for the numbers on adam miller?

Yeah, my goal going forward is to continue to provide KDS preferences for the satellite leagues for all to see and some tidbits from these drafts leading up to Draft Day. And then of course the ADP lists for all Satellite League participants will be very helpful. Everyone will still have to pull the trigger on DRaft Day, but this could all be very interesting and helpful. Should create tough leagues again this year.

Last nights draft, I was able to get Ryan Howard & Alphonso Soriano at 15 & 16, I felt that was a great foundation to get started with...Was originally targeting Beltran and B. Phillips, of the two who would you guys go with???
you're right, Chest.. what are they thinking?? Sabathia easily outperforms Kazmir this year except in the case of an injury.

John Lackey: 44, 74, 57

Cole Hamels, 47, 66, 73

Scott Kazmir: 61, 67, 67
are you sure that is correct less than Dave said they will be Webb, Beckett, Bedard, Sabathia and Lackey. He did allow for Hamels to sneak in, but what are those Kazmir owners thinking?
you're right, Chest.. what are they thinking?? Sabathia easily outperforms Kazmir this year except in the case of an injury.
I for one have Kazmir and about 4 pitchers you did not mention over Sabathia.

That would really save me a lot of time!

And this is coming from a risk freak.

I've said it many times. He should not be in the 1st round. It's obvious. Why? Because a 1st rounder goes down for year, and you're chances of winning your league are probably 15-1. Why would anyone take that chance?

Even if you're lucky enough for Pujols to stay healthy, how much better will he be than Utley, Cabrera, Holliday? I'm sure a little better but is it worth the risk?

Doughboys, you're supposed to be the voice of reason. Get back on track.

Greg, might as well post the results for the Sats since everything is being written in this forum on the players? No?
So when do you draft him? 2nd rd? Surely your chances of losing your 2nd rd pick (early 2nd rd for that matter) hurt your chances of winning nearly as much as losing your 1st rd pick.

Would you have drafted Pujols in the 1st rd last year? What about 2006? He's been playing with an injured elbow for the last 4 yrs (someone correct me if that's not true).

Bottomline is this: what's so different about Pujols entering this year versus the last couple of years? Just playing devil's advocate, Crazy. All this being said, I want to sleep well after the draft and not worry about my 1st rounder announcing one day in the middle of the season that he's opting for elbow surgery.
