Well, Shoppach or a Texas catcher will suffice I guess.

I am just seeing this all now, but I have to agree. Some pretty weak drafting - I have to agree that the #1 guy is totally clueless...

Criticize all you want, not saying that
I have two general comments from the "so-called expert" peanut gallery.
1. What separates the NFBC community from a lot of the information providers is they are better GAMERS, that is they know how to assimilate the information provided by industry people and assemble a better team than the industry people. The primary way to see this is NFBC vets have a better idea of when they can take the players they like at a profit.
2. Industry people underestimate the difficulty with drafts as they consider auctions to be the "harder" format and have been weaned on that format. That said, this is not an old-school crowd so they should be familiar with the nuances of drafting.

well as someone who loves auctions, I agree that they are the more fair format, but not sure if I agree about the harder perception...

GG - I was thinking about it, it is only about 30 minutes from me. I know you have been before, is it worth it. Probably only about an hour for you, right?

Do You Want To Watch A Draft Tonight?
just thinking, worth it might not be the correct phrase, for $29, I am sure it is worth it. The better question would be, was it advantages to go, did you learn anything?

There is skill needed to win at drafts, however, the luck factor is much greater at drafts as opposed to auctions.

I'm obviously biased, but it is well worth the $29.

After thinking about this more...
An auction is an auction is an auction.
Once you grasp it...the glamour wears off. It's the most fair way to create teams, and although there are many inseresting angles...it's fairly simple.
I think there could be a longer learning curve for a lifetime auction player to learn to snake draft than the reverse.

Ask Todd after he's done with both his auctions and drafts on March 20-22 which format is more challenging. If he is being honest, he will tell you auction. That being said, most of his existing or potential client base is more than likely draft oriented so I don't blame him for defending the draft format.
