After making the All-Star game last year...you think Sherrill can fight off the return of Ray or any others in BAL and close games all year?

Chris Davis looks like a player who will make or break a lot of seasons this year. In the first NFBC draft of the year, in Dec, I was able to draft him mid 6th rd. Now he is firmly planted in the 4th rd, and he even been drafted in the 3rd. Any thoughts on drafting Davis that early and ahead of established vets like Delgado and Huff.

Also - his teammate Elvis Andrus is another guy who seems bound to be overdrafted- Where do you see him going on Avg?

Do you think that the strict facial hair rules in Yankee land adds to their professionalism and mystique enough to compensate for possible resentment and lack of chemistry and the freedom to wear longer hair or beards? :D

Sorry Gekko's chat but what a foolish comment. Eddie and Shawn have great track records check KOQ, Jupinka etc in NY they are equaled. Todd and Perry are great guys and good for this contest, but Mark and a lot of guys in NY blow them away accomplishment wise and they would be the first to admit it. Get your facts straight or you will continue to look foolish. Tons of great players in every NFBC city.

Jason and I have for years suggested a $200-/60+ split it could be. but, if pitching counts for half the points, why not spend $90 out of $260? i'm confident enough in my knowledge of end game players to be able to get who i want from a hitting side. we'll see if i'm right.

Would you say that there is any real difficulty of a serpintine draft if you are 100% prepared?

With that said...does alcohol really harm a 3 to 4 hour drafts results? You have your strategy and cheatsheet...this isn't an auction where it's long and you need to track $$$.

chest-why don't you give the 1300 AL or NL auction a try sometime and show me what "foolish statements" I make. My guess is you would rather type on your keyboard than show up and prove your worth.
