They got the option to take Padilla out, myself and others did not, which makes an uneven playing field...You made the decision to not police the FAAB bid moves and even if I don't like it I will live with it...and it does not mean I don't trust you now, it just meanz you made a tough decision I did not like...we are good...

Rock on... This guy has a very valid point...

Because guys had bids in they were allowed the option of changing their lineups? What about the guys with no bids in?

What he did was within the rules set forth by Greg last Monday.

Finally, here's the question and it is to you, Mark. Last Monday, did you bench Padilla because of his poor start in the first couple innings or had you decided to bench Padilla before the game started? Your answer to the question will obviously show whether you made the Padilla decision with integrity or without it.

Why were there roster moves not allowed if they were ALL legal?

I guess that is a question for Greg, Tom and Geoff.

How many roster moves did you reverse or not allow? I think that this is a fair question.

I would also like to state that I understand you all had thousands(?) of roster moves emailed to you and I don't fault any of you for the situation you were put in.

I do feel that some sort of transparency here is important from Fanball.

KOQ, from the looks of it you have PROOF....question for you to answer, where does GEKKO have PROOF of making a Padilla move prior to opening day? Let's tell it like it is, GEKKO simply took advantage of the FAAB debacle and NFBC will let it ride unfortunately.
How could he prove the Moyer move? Moyer was a conditional bid for him last week, meaning Moyer never appeared on his roster until after the game had started.

As far as I know, he had Padilla in his starting lineup prior to the FAAB corrections.

What proof would you deem acceptable?
King of Queens, the voice of reason.

Fact is that Gekko knew he got Moyer because he started him for Pavano at 11:36.

This then changed to starting Moyer for Padilla in the email at 2:15 ET, after Padilla got hit around.

Guess Who? Auction Activate Jamie Moyer P 4/05/2010 2:30 PM ET

Guess Who? Auction Bench Vicente Padilla Bench 4/05/2010 2:30 PM ET

Guess Who? Auction Activate Jamie Moyer P 4/05/2010 11:36 AM ET

Guess Who? Auction Bench Carl Pavano Bench 4/05/2010 11:36 AM ET

Again, 11:36 he made the move he wanted and then changed his mind once the games started. He got the same player in the FAAB each run.

I sent this in as soon as I saw it last week to try to see if they would contact Mark about this and nothing came of it.

Nothing else should matter.

"think"john - seeing how bids were all messed up, there's no telling if i would have gotten moyer after the bids were rerun.

So, yes, Gekko didn't know if he'd still get Moyer or not. But when he did get Moyer again, he benched Padilla, who'd been knocked around...not Pavano, whom he originally had benched. Yeah, I think we have a smoking gun.

Ya know, more importantly that the actual topic of this thread :D , if you add up the pages of all three threads covering this subject (Gekko-Your Team, Rollins not a 'rollin, and this thread of course), we're on page 12 in less than 8 hours.

At this pace, we should surpass the AC Main Event pitching run thread (15 pages) by the time I hit the sack & the infamous Blanton thread of last season (22 pages) by morning coffee.

Mark, if you got paid for creating message board participation, you wouldn't need the 100K main event prize. Just trying to help you out with a potential business opportunity. ;)
