Why can't my hitters get in on some of these melt-downs?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Buerhle has a great move but for years I've thought it was borderline balk.

Did he get called for not coming to a stop, or was it for not stepping toward first?

it was called by a guy that might be the worst ump in the history of basball. every game is about joe west. the game should never be about the ump.

[/QUOTE]I just saw the video.

That's the move I thought was borderline. Not stepping toward first, he steps more towards the first base side on-deck circle.

I think the first one was a balk. The second one was not.

What's even funnier is that he kicked out probably the fastest working pitcher in the game!

Karma bit Ole Joe in his big ass when the bottom of the 9th took about 42 and half minutes!

I like Dice K's line. 8 BB 1 HBP 1 k over 4 2/3 IP. 3 ER.

You gotta have balls or no brains to start this guy week in and week out. I have happen to have both, not a good combination.

Wells just pulled a "Hoff". This, coming off a great 8-inning performance in Texas.

Paulino with a pretty ugly line ,up till tonight he was pitching pretty good and had his era below 4 but now he's back to being a grab back.

Eddie, I thought 6 more of Paulino's runs were going to be unearned, like the announcer's said, but then I googled catcher's interence and cursed.

S Baker. 7 innings, 0 earned runs, 12ks!! and a win.

Why is this a meltdown? he was on my bench in 2 of the 3 leagues I own him. Ugghh. After his last couple of horrible starts, I can't say that I saw this coming.

How many fantasy players cut Jamie Moyer on sunday after his 9 runs in one inning. And of course he comes back againest the Yanks and only allows three hits and picks up the win. STING.

Eddie - The Moyer blowup single-handedly put my September fantasy football trip to Vegas in doubt. Reminded me that fantasy baseball has some luck involved in it, and with that fantasy football has 3X the luck. i don't like risking capital on games that incorporate that much luck.
