This sounds really interesting. Kind of like an auction league only real money on the line depending on which players you draft. My question is, why paypal? Do you have to "pay paypal" after each player you draft? Or do you pay once and done at the end of the draft? There will be a deposit by paypal when signups are finalized, then an additional payment or refund after the draft based on team payroll. Paypal is convenient, checks are not.

Is this hosted by Fanball. If so, what's the percentage withheld?

KJ - Just want to confirm. If a player does not appear on the player contract list is it safe/correct to assume that they are at league minimum ($400,000 or $4)?

Thanks

Thanks Unless it is just a glaring mistake on my part, yes. I pull data from Cot's blog, so it's easy to double-check there if you think I missed something.

Tomorrow I'll email blast the prior participants; that should fill the league. If you're on the fence speak up now ...

If it ends up starting later for some reason I would have some interest. I just don't feel like preparing for baseball this soon(or ever) really.

For players not drafted - If you pick them up later as a free agent - do you owe the same salary (and therefore real money) as if they were drafted? Or if players are left undrafted can they be picked up for no charge?

I would love to draft with this format but $10 is a little to steep for me...Would there be any interest in $2 league. If there is I will start it out

I'm targeting either a January 14th (friday) of January 17th (monday) start date for this league. Preferences?
