Once again, Juprinka demanding and receiving "special treatment". Lord only knows what unspeakable skeletons he knows about in Greg, Tom, and especially MtM's closet.

In this photo: Greg, Tom, and MtM cruising the strip after last year's viewing party.

One guess as to which one-time NFBC Overall Champ who shall remain nameless secretly took this picture and mailed it to each of them with his list of demands.....

Be nice if there was actually an image for us to view, Lowy. Then we might possibly even laugh at something you post for a change.  See earlier on this page for how it's done. ;)

Tom, Is it possible for me to get internet access at the draft table for the $1300 auction? If so I think I can draft the MTM Super from the $1300 auction at the same time. would just need to draft from the draftroom online, and have a wavier to be plug in during the draft if needed. Let me know if this is possible? Thanks Roy

You'll be able to track the draft online Roy but you'll need someone to make your picks for you. It's possible I may have some extra help available but I can't guarantee that since I have someone doing the same thing with Ante. But if this will work for you let me know. We'll figure something out.

See, now THIS is how you do it, ladies and gentlemen! Talk about dedication. Although I think that the Ice Cream Man has finally suffered a hemorrhage from one too many brain freezes, we all of course would love it, Tom, if you could make this happen. I also heard that he would like to set up a beer I.V. so that he won't have to leave the draft table. ;)

Let me make a call to see what last year's draft facilitator is up to. Maybe Roy can hire her for his personal servant that night...Then again, there probably isn't enough ice cream sandwiches in the world to lure her into this gig.

Okay, great job here everyone, especially Ante and Roy for trying to do double-duty here. We'll make it work so that you guys will have what you need to make your picks in the Super. And starting at the time we had set up earlier allows this league to have a little fun before, during and after the draft. Great job everyone.

Roy would make 14 if he can swing it and it's great to have an East Coast guy like Larry jumping in here. It's the basis of this league and next year if his schedule works out he will be live in New York, but for now he's part of this great league and he's a veteran who can hold his own when the smack talk gets going!! This is going to be a great, great league again.

We'll get one more and we have other non-East Coast guys who would love to jump in if this spot stays open much longer. But we'd love to fill it with a live body first, so we'll keep the spot warm for a bit. But there's no concern about having 15 owners anymore on Friday night. Let's DO THIS!!

Thanks Mikey and everyone for being so patient. The 2nd annual New York MTM Invitational is ready to get rollin'.

Hey Glenn,
Great to see you on board for this...saved me the trouble of harassing you with incessant calls and emails to take the plunge with this list of guppies. ;) Look forward to catching up with you in Vegas the week prior. Disclaimer:
Any injuries you should happen to sustain while out in Vegas shall not exempt you from this competition.

We'll figure something out. Don't see the Friday Auction working. We will do an Online XII
at 9pm on Thursday night. Need to be squared away for the Chicago Mains. However, we will be into NYC
early so maybe we can find a place to CATCH up before the drafts.

I have been remiss on not posting this earlier, but I first need to give props to my good buddy and fellow Jersey boy, Kenny "Sack" Magner for making the right decision to re-join his brethren once again for a second go-round of the MTM Super. Despite still feeling the sting of the one point loss he suffered on the last day of the season for the league title (thank you again, Mr. Scott Fleming :P ), he picked himself up (which is a struggle each day in and of itself), brushed himself off, and returned to fold. It had to be my bubbly personality that did it ;) ...actually, from what I hear, it was Governor Jim Christie's deep pockets that did the trick, so thanks to you as well, Luny for you impending donation. You may have the money, but your presence at the draft table as an "adviser" to Mr. Magner based on what I have seen of your drafting abilities so far this season will be more of a handicap than anything else. Perhaps Kenny will let you call out his picks for him if you're awake come your turn.

Also, a big thanks and welcome to Larry Lensak for deciding to join us live as well. You'll be happy that you did. Larry and I are practically neighbors here in NJ, so I'm sure he'll be looking forward to having me over for dinner now and then after we become fast friends by the end of the draft...or get a restraining order, one of the two for sure. :P

Now there is only one person amongst this group that is still insisting that he receive preferential treatment to draft from home by phone. Hmmmm, must be nice being a prima donna when you're a top money winner and an NFBC Main Event Champ and HOF'er.

JUPINKA!!!!
