33 Brian Roberts

34 Ryan Zimmerman

35 Ichiro Suzuki

36 CC Sabathia

37 Jayson Werth

41 Robinson Cano

42 Jason Bay

43 Zack Greinke

44 Adam Lind

45 Derek Jeter Since signing with the Mets, Bay has gone from like 26th overall to 42nd. Does Citi Field REALLY drop him that far? Wow. I think he hits in the middle of a much improved lineup if Reyes stays healthy and exceeds expectations. Man, give me Bay at 42.

You know, I was all over Morneau early in the year, but now I'm worried about his late-season ailments too. The bad back is always a concern. I'm not saying he's a bummer in the third round, but this is a strong list so far. He's my one concern.

Anyone who can go 20-20 like he can, is a worthy pickup. But I know he won't be available when I want him, so there is no way I'll have him on any team. Plus, I still hate the White Sox from the LaRussa '83 team when I lived at County Stadium in Milwaukee!! :D

No, Justin looks like a monster compared to BJ. He looks so mature at the plate and he's just 22. This kid is going to be a first round pick soon.

I think you may have missed my question so I'll post again:

A great add on to the current Free Agent system would be having the ability to export the free agent list into excel. We've asked for this the past few years. The STATS system was top notch in the industry with all the add ons and tweaks you helped to implement. Can we please add this one? It would help out a lot for the folks with multiple teams. I don't think I'm alone when I say that the only reason I don't add a team or two more is that Sundays have become insane. Anything to help Sunday out is a welcome addition. Thank you in advance

Jason Oh, my apologies Jason. Yes, I've passed this onto Cory and the IT team. I didn't get an answer to this yet, but I will post one as soon as I can. I think anything is possible and this would make a lot of sense. I promise an answer on this.

Please keep suggestions like this coming. In the past, we were just a customer and couldn't get extra projects always completed. Now this is OUR PRODUCT and every suggestion is considered and for this year. This is on the docket and we'll see if we can do this.

Time is money for you guys and nobody knows that more than me. That's why when a competitor comes along you have to take into consideration how much extra time it's going to take to do our free agents each Sunday and then learn a new system, one that may not have the bells and whistles ours will. Now maybe it will be better than ours and it's not a concern. But we realize here that if we save you time on Sunday you'll have more time to play more leagues. And we want to make that happen.

We did that with STATS with the Conditional Bids process that you guys suggested to me. I didn't think of that idea. You guys did. This is another great idea and I'll see if we can do this. I promise an answer one way or another.

Okay, thanks all. I have to catch up on signups. We were at 295 before the chat started for the main event. 300 and 20 full leagues by the Super Bowl will be AMAZING!!! I'm so pumped and proud of what we have here in 2010. Thanks so much all.

And even better is news like we just shared where we can save you time with free agents on Sundays. That's key. Through the years we've really made changes that allows you to have a life on Sundays and still get the free agents you want. I like that. This is going to be a fun, fun year, so welcome aboard all and let's fill this up.

By the way, I'm ready to start picking draft spots and videotaping the announcements. First up: The Diamond League. Time to work on the payments and get that league draft order announced in the next couple of weeks.

I want to give one more example of how the Fanball IT group is saving Tom and me time. In the past with KDS, STATS just had us look up each individual owners' listing for the satellite leagues and online championship, and when it came time for the main event, Ultimate and Super we received one big Excel sheet of KDS listings. Tom and I did each league by hand and it would take a good 20-30 minutes to run each league and double check the listings and then get Geoff emails for each participant. It was just a timely setup.

Now Fanball has automated the KDS preferences for each finished league and can automate the draft order once we've automated the random selection of the order. It's just two presses of the button; two shuffling of the decks if you will. This advancement will save Tom and I tons of time and will make sure that no mistakes are made while running KDS.

Now, it won't be as appealing on video as the old Bingo machine has been put in mothballs, but what the hell. :D It allows Tom and I to have more time to sell out these events. Thanks Cory. Great job there.

Hi Greg,

Will there be a weekly NFBC podcast/radio show this season? Gekko, Roundtrippers, and the King of Queens did a great job last year hosting a weekly podcast for a couple of months!! Thanks for prodding me on this. Yes, Geoff and Tom are going to create an NFBC weekly podcast on blogtalkradio.com. Look for more details soon with NFBC member interviews and more. This is going to be fun. They are trying to pick the time of week and day it will happen. Stay tuned, but those guys are on this and they will double-team for this gig. It will be fun and informative.

Again, we want to make our NFBC players the stars of this event. This podcast will take that to another level.
I think the top 10, maybe even the top 20 overall finishers from last yr's main event would be a good place to start with interviews.
While you are taking requests.... One change I would like to see is the ability to have a conditional bid in a higher dollar amount than your primary bid. If I want Zobrist more than Aardsma, but I think that Aardsma will cost more, I should be able to place a lower primary bid on Zobrist and a higher conditional bid on Aardsma. I think this would be a significant addition. I see no reason why your first pick has to be the highest bid amount.

Now, where do I pick up one of these?
