Meat Loaf Is Back In The NFBC

I hate to single out any individual in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship because we have so many good players, but it's always good to mention when we get a celebrity who is as dedicated to fantasy baseball as the rest of us. So it's my pleasure to announce that the rock star Meat Loaf will be back to draft live in Las Vegas for the third straight year. He officially signed up for three teams and will likely manage 30 or more teams in all the contests he competes in this year.
Meat will return for the $1,250 AL Auction League as we now have 10 official signups for that league, the $1,250 NL Auction League and the NFBC's main event. He competed in both auction leagues last year and on Friday night after 10 hours of auctions he came up to me and said, "Greg, can't we do another auction tonight? I just LOVE these." He will be back for the main event on Saturday and I have a feeling he will be part of the Leaderboard Sports team that currently has an entry in the Ultimate Draft League.
Anyway, we're glad to have him back in our event as he had to wait until he saw his schedule for this spring before committing. I believe Meat is recording Bat Out Of Hell III and he will be promoting that album this spring. We wish him best of luck, but on March 17-18 he's just one of the guys competing for league titles. Welcome back Meat and best of luck in all of the leagues.
Oh, and by the way, you were great all season long on ESPN Classic as you were the fantasy football expert. Meat won a league title in the National Fantasy Football Championship, $5,000 and was one of 43 teams in the finals for the $100,000 grand prize. Good job in football, but now it's baseball time.
See ya in Vegas!
