One of the best guys in the industry is now becoming one of the best guys in baseball as Jason Grey is leaving ESPN.com as their minor league fantasy baseball writer. Jason's heart is in scouting and he recently accepted a job with a major league club to become a full-time scout. Kudos to him, but a loss for ESPN.com and the industry. CONGRATS Jason and best of luck in your new career. I'm sure you'll uncover many new jewels.
Here's his ESPN farewell column:

Re: Jason Grey To Leave ESPN.com
He was also an NFBC player in our auctions the last couple of years and a damn good one. We'll miss him if he now can't play. But at least in this new role we can expect to see him be the lead speaker about prospects at the Arizona Fall League Symposium. That's now a given!!Walla Walla wrote:Jason was great running the Auctions. Wish him the best!!!
