NFBC Message Boards

Okay, we randomly picked the two $150 Slow Draft Leagues and then ran KDS preferences for all 30 owners. I'll have the draft order for $150 Slow Draft League 2 shortly. The next process to get these going is:

1. Get all 15 owners Registered on the NFBC site once that opens, which hopefully will be in the next day or two.

2. We then have to assign the leagues and email invites to each of you. We'll set the starting date within that email and get the draft rooms open for all of you. It will look and act the same as last year's draft room; we are making adjustments to it that won't be visible for a while.

3. Once everyone is registered and the league is set up and draft room is open, we can roll with these. Should be soon enough. Thanks all and best of luck to everyone.

I will post the KDS preferences and analysis on that shortly. However, this league couldn't have worked out better as 10 of 15 owners got their first preference. I've never seen that before!!! Just amazing. Everyone is looking at different spots to build their teams from, which is great. Good luck everyone.

Let's look at the KDS preferences for this league, which definitely was historic for the NFBC. The average KDS preference received for all 15 owners was 2.53, definitely a new record for the NFBC. A record 10 owners also got their first preference, far surpassing anything we've had before. Here's the KDS numbers and the analysis:

** Average KDS preference received was 2,533, a new NFBC record.

** 10 owners got their first preference, a new NFBC record. Other KDS preferences received were: 2,3,5,6,12. Amazing.

** 3 owners had No. 1 as their first preference; 3 had No. 1 last. Everyone had a different view of where to draft from, which makes KDS work so well.

Im pumped lets get this show on the road!!!! Baseball before xmas nothing could be better.


Congrats Ron Santo as a true baseball fan 1st your election into the hall is much deserved

I am a lifelong Cards fan and am disappointed that they did not get Santo in while he was still living, very much deserved and it would have been so much better if we could have heard his acceptance speech

Greg, where/when will we see NFBC's default rankings and positional eligibility lists?
