SiriusXM/FSTA Fantasy Baseball Draft Live On Monday at 8 pm

On Monday, Jan. 16th at the Mirage in Las Vegas, the 2nd annual SiriusXM/FSTA Fantasy Baseball Industry Draft will be held starting at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET. I am one of 13 participants in this league and today on Rotowire's Fantasy Baseball Show we ran KDS live with all 13 players. I had the 4th nomination and after the top three all went 1,2,3, I stayed boring and took the 4th spot. So I have the 4th pick in Monday's draft.
I had thought about moving down after drafting from the 12th spot last week. But Top 4 is still a good draw and you never know if the Top 3 will stay conventional or not. If they do, I can still build my team around Troy Tulowitzki, Ellsbury or one of the 1B power hitters. I have a week to look at my options.
Anyway, if you have SiriusXM, tune in next week for the 3-hour show as they will cover the draft live from start to finish. It should be a lot of fun. The participants are all in the industry and have their own Cheat Sheets and/or projections ready to go. Here's the cast of characters with me:
1-Ray Flowers, SiriusXM Fantasy Drive
2-Ron Shandler, Baseball HQ
3-Greg Ambrosius, Stats/NFBC
4-Tim Heaney, KFFL
5-Glenn Colton/Rick Wolf, RotoWorld/Full Moon
6-Peter Madden/Alex Reithmiller, CBS Sports
7-Lawr Michaels, Mastersball
8-Chris Liss, RotoWire
9-Mark Griffis/Tony Holm, Fantasy Sharks
10-Anthony Perri, Fantistics Fantasy Sports
11-Howard Kamen/Steve Gardner, USA TODAY
12-Ryan Hallam/Jeff Mans, Fantasy Alarm
13-Charlie Wiegert, CDM Sports
My buddy Ray and Kay Adams won this league title last year. I was just a radio host last year.
Okay, now, what suggestions do you have me at 4? Remember, this is a 13-team league (only Charlie Wiegert could set up a 13-team league!!), so consider who I might still be able to get in the second and third rounds. Should be fun. I'll take any and all suggestions, as long as they're helpful.
Thanks.
