405+ Teams Now In The NFBC Main Event

Since we've sold out the Main Event each of the last 7 years, I thought it would make sense to provide a counter to a sellout earlier this year than ever before. Today I noticed we have 130 Main Event signups in the system, so my quick math told me that we are one-third there to our goal of 390 teams. That means that ONLY 260 SPOTS ARE LEFT!!

We are going to have a new Registration area that lists the remaining available spots for each contest very soon, but I don't want folks to fall asleep on the Main Event. I know folks are securing their spots in the private big money leagues, and the auction leagues, but we sold out the Main Event by mid-March last year and this year even with the later start to the draft season I really think we're going to sell out in the same fashion this year. There are a lot of new people inquiring about the Main Event and signing up for the Main Event, and honestly we've also gotten back from old members who left after 2010 and are happy to see things are stabilized under STATS' direction. So I like where we're headed.

Remember, we're not taking any payments until Feb. 15th, so feel free to secure your spot in the Main Event well before then. I'll update this thread periodically, but thanks to everyone who jumped in early and if you plan on taking multiple live events, remember that you get free access to STATS Pass right away. Trust me, you'll like that data tool.

We already have 11 full leagues for the NFBC Main Event among the various cities and both weekends and we're working on our 12th league now. That means we have 165+ teams signed up and ready to go for the Main Event. I usually start countdowns once we have 100 spots left, but what the heck. Our new Registration page, which will appear in February, will have countdowns of every single event and so I thought I'd get the jump on that with this thread. Let's keep it going and hit the halfway mark before the Super Bowl.

We now have more than 200 signups for the NFBC Main Event, which means that we have LESS THAN 190 SPOTS LEFT!! Wow, I like that on Jan. 27th. We're more than halfway sold out with two months to go. At this pace....well, let's just say we're headed toward an 8th straight sellout of the Main Event.

Dave Clum of Pembroke Pines, Florida put us over the 200 mark when he added a Main Event Online League on the First Weekend. Dave won our NFFC Primetime grand prize of $100,000 this year and he's now in both Main Events, the Auction Championship and the NFBC XII. I love it. Joe Anthony of Cary, North Carolina also added a New York Main Event team to his Mahwah, New Jersey Main. Love it there, too.

Wow, the signups keep coming in for the Main Event!!! I can't update the Welcome thread today as I'm running between bowling, basketball, ACT tests and a high school dance tonight (not for me, my daughter!!), but we are now over 270 teams for the Main Event, LEAVING US WITH LESS THAN 120 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT!! We also have 100 teams now for the First Weekend Main Event, which means we have 5 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT for that one. Yes, we can shoot for 120 Main Event teams that first weekend, but first let's get to 105. Then we can work on closing out each city perfectly. Thanks all.

Wow, what another GREAT DAY of signups in the NFBC. We are now nearing 300 total teams and have LESS THAN 95 GUARANTEED SPOTS FOR THE MAIN EVENT!! I can't say it any louder than that. DON'T DELAY IF YOU WANT TO PLAY!! There you go!!
