Perry, add Bruce Bevacqua as #15. He's good to go.

Jim - are you ET or PT?

EST here; I could also try and put in for a half day or even the whole day Saturday; Sunday would be my first choice but could try and swing it Saturday

CapTain Hook - you did a great job getting some traction on this. We spent the most of all this week with no interest, until you posted a new thread yesterday

Looking forward to this with everyone

Looking like Saturday is really the best bet for me. Would be a huge stretch to make a Sunday draft work during the day. Will try to accommodate for the majority.

Well we have one or two who can't do the other day but I am going to change this to

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 12 @ 1 pm ET (10 am PT)

So please comment if you either can't make the date or have time problems

I happen to agree with Mark that the draft itself should be under six hours BUT that assumes everyone is familiar with the STATS draft setup which I think is a reach.....But I will say that once we are set up with draft slots WHICH will be well in advance of the draft so everyone can go in an make their own draft lists then people can see the "room" and get a good idea.
I also agree on some breaks, and I think 15 minutes after Round 15 and 15 minutes after Round 35 will keep everyone comfortable, fortified and give them time to update for the next stage of the draft. So I think if we start at 1 we should be through by 7:30 PM easily.....but I would block seven hours for the draft and breaks which will give you a slight cushion if you have to rush off......or tell wifey when you are rejoining the world.

I will have to see if I can make a change with my family schedule to make this work for Sunday. I am going to push for it.

Is this going to part of the over slow draft championship?

Yes, this will still retain the same league prizes and be part of the overall championship. The only difference here is that you're finishing your draft faster than the other leagues, but everything about it is the same. Good luck everyone and thanks for organizing this.

NOTICE to participants listed in the first post......PLEASE PM me a confirmation AND include your email address (there will be some special instructions for this draft)

We also need to decide on a prize structure.....given that the league is part of the SLOW draft Championship I personally favor paying Top 3 (keeps more people involved and motivated and updating their lineups all summer IMO)

But the alternative would be Winner take all

So PM me your vote on that with your confirmation

Directions AFTER we have confirmed the 15 players for signing up and KDS

I could do either Saturday or Sunday, so I could be an alternate in case one of the 15 has to cancel for some reason ... regarding payout, seems to make the most sense for Greg if it uses the regular top 3 payout (then it is just another regular slow draft) ... in any case, if I end up in the draft that would be my vote ...

Thanks,
mgk2004

I am not sure what PM is - Is that private message? Anyway, I will look again to see if I covered everything. I would set my KDS once it is showing on My Teams unless I missed that part. ANY time Saturday or Sunday would work for me. So no conflicts here. But I am confirmed and my email is [email protected]. Is there a way we can NOT have pick updates sent out on this one since there is no need?

Yes, PM is private message on these boards

BUT you are confirmed

I will check with Greg on the emails but if I interpreted his answer to my previous complaint about those, they are part of the system - you won't have time to check your email during the draft anyway ;)

One thing that Dave mentioned is that I am sure that most of us would like to know our draft spot as soon as possible AND we will do that by submitting our KDS order to Greg AS SOON AS we are all confirmed
