Okay, I'll torture this group like I tortured the NFBC $1,000 Slow Ddraft League owners yesterday. Let's create a thread for the draft order and show how KDS worked for this group. I'll do these about 5 minutes apart, although I have to be done in time to play hoops at noon CST!! So you're in luck there.

Here's the draft order for the first of what could be many NFBC $150 Slow/FAST 50-round drafts. I believe it's on Sunday, Feb. 12th:

Okay, the first one pulled out of the computer was Jason Duponte. He moved to the 8th spot, his first preference. He went 8,7,3,2,1 to start out his preferences and is happy to be in the middle of the draft. It's interesting because as you'll see much later on, not everyone wanted to be next to Jason. But that's for later.

Here's one of 6 guys who got their first preference. Who is next to get that? Coming soon...

Jeff Tudor was randomly selected second by the computer and he also got his first preference, dropping to the 10th spot. His KDS was 10,11,4,3,5,9 to start out. He got the 10th spot and becomes our 2nd of 6 owners to get their first preference. Nice job Jeff in calculating your draft strategy. See how nicely this works for everyone?

Next one up also gets his first preference. I wonder who that could be....

Jim Christie was one of only two people to keep their KDS as 1-15 and as luck would have it for Every League Luny, he got his top preference. He was randomly selected third and got the first pick. Sometimes it's better to be lucky and good, right Jim? Enjoy the top pick.

That's 3-for-3. But we stop our streak with the next selection.....

Mike Massotto (I remembered the vowels this time Mikey) is 2-for-2 these last two days from the 15 hole, his second preference. Mike is getting a lot of lower draft picks this off-season, but he had his KDS as 1,15,2,14,3,4,5, so it worked the way he wanted it. He's down at the turn, where he knows how to win a league title. Nice job Mike and best of luck from there.

The next person pulled gets us back on track with his first preference. That person is......

Jeremy Wilck gets his first preference by becoming the fifth owner randomly selected. Jeremy started his KDS with 13,15,14,12,11,10, so he definitely wanted a spot in the lower half. He got No. 13 and can now work his magic from there. Nice job Jeremy.

Okay, another one gets their first preference next. It's.....

Okay, Bruce Bevacqua was the sixth person picked randomly, but once again he got his first preference. Bruce set his KDS as 4,5,6,13,14,15 and got the 4th spot right away. Nice job Bruce. This is working out mighty well for everyone...so far. Two bad news to come later. But here's where we are now:

Another good KDS to come next....

Kirk LeValley was randomly selected next and got his second preference, the 5th spot. Kirk went 4,5,6,7,8 with his early preferences and got the 5th spot after Bruce nabbed the 4th spot. He still has to be happy with that spot. Great job Kirk and best of luck in this one. Here's where we are now, nearing the halfway point:

Mark Srebro went 15,14,9,8,10,13,12 with his KDS preferences and got his second choice, one of FIVE owners who got their second preference. That means we had SIX owners get their 1st preference and FIVE owners with their 2nd preference. Pretty nice. Mark is slotted in the 14th hole next to Mikey and will have some fun at the turn. He was picked 11th randomly and he will be picking from the 11th spot, his first preference. Perry Van Hook went 11,8,9,7,10,6 with his listings and got his first preference. Nice job and good luck Perry.

Jeff Kent also went straight butter with his KDS preferences, 1-15, and landed his 3rd choice with the No. 3 spot still open. Not bad for being the 12th person randomly selected. It's good to be lucky and good Jeff.

Three spots left...

Laurence Curtis was randomly picked 13th and got his fifth preference, the 12th spot. Laurence went 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15, so he preferred the back half of the draft. Not a bad landing spot for being randomly picked so late in the draft. Enjoy.

Now for the last two....

The average KDS received in this league was 3.4, which is very good. But that doesn't help the last two owners, who didn't get spots that they wanted. Both of them had No. 7 last on their lists, so this wasn't a good landing spot for either guy. Mike McElory actually was picked 14th randomly and took the 6th spot, his 12th preference. That left Mike Konemann with the 7th spot, his last preference. The odds of getting your last preference are pretty high in this format, but it happens at times. What's left is what you get, unfortunately. Here's the draft order and sorry to the last two guys, but I know you'll be able to make it work from the middle:

I have it from anonymous source as well that Mark isn't going to be as happy as he thinks he will in the 14 hole for some reason.
