Slow Draft Suggestion

Been participating in slow drafts now for the last few years, and the time it takes for people to draft always seems to cause frustration for owners. It seems like a large part of the frustration may be due to drafting from different time zones. Being on the East Coast, I can sense the frustration from other owners when I head to bed each night knowing that the draft will stop when it gets to me and it may only be 8:00 if they're on the West Coast. At the same time, after watching the draft not move at all over the course of the night in my time zone, it moved 13 picks shortly after I went to sleep for the night and my pick timed out before I could get back to the computer in the morning.
Let me say, I enjoy the 8 hour format and the reason I do the slow drafts is to give me something to do between football and baseball seasons, so the longer the draft takes the better! But I do feel badly to a certain extent that my draft seems to start and stop with me each day...when I get to the computer in the morning and when I shut it off at night.
My suggestion is to offer slow drafts by time zone. I don't know how feasable this is or if it would hurt registration numbers. At the same time, if owners don't mind the slower pace and the draft coming to a halt at certain parts of the day I wouldn't exclude those people from a draft, it would just offer people an opportunity to draft with others who will be online generally at the same times of day.
Maybe this isn't as practical as it seems to me, just something I've been thinking about while doing my slow draft again this year.
